The sky over the Eastern Front was partially cloudy. The clouds drifted slow and wide, thick enough to block sunlight, but not dark enough to rain.
The Senju and Uzumaki clan had arrived at dawn, marching in formation through the forest and had started setting up camps and traps.
Within two hours, the forest had been webbed with traps. Uzumaki sealing poles were placed around the camp which activated the defensive technique.
And still, across the river, where Uchiha camp should have been built, there was nothing.
No smoke.
No guards posted.
No glint of armor, no flutter of Uchiha banners.
Only the slow moving water, glinting faintly beneath the clouded sky, dividing the Uchiha and senju battlefield.
Senju-Uzumaki Command center
Senju and Uzumaki members were all gathered here. They were discussing about the strange behavior of Uchiha clan and what could be their plan.
Butsuma: "What is Uchiha planning?"
Field Captain: "Lord Butsuma. Scouts report no movement, Not even heat trails."
Butsuma didn't answer right away. His gaze lingered on a the map placed on his table wondering where did Uchiha clan go.
Uzumaki Elder: "They're not late. They're planning something."
Butsuma: "Lets go, I will personally go and check what they are up to."
Uzumaki Elder: "I will join, lets me see if my kagura mind eye can detect them."
Soon Butsuma along with his ninja guards and Uzumaki elder came to the center of the battlefield, The Uzumaki elder closed his eyes and tried to sense chakra from distance.
Uzumaki Elder: " I can't detect any chakra signs on the opposite side."
Butsuma: "Uchiha where are you?"
Just as they were about to fallback and think on next plan of action, they heard a shout.
Uchiha Leo: "You dare challenge Uchiha....!! Now face the wrath of Uchiha...!!"
Butsuma was the first to look up. Following him everyone looked up. What they saw was beyond their understanding. Five enormous warships made of metal and wood. With Uchiha crest Flag was sailing in the sky.
Yes, it looked like the ships were sailing in the sky and they were in a wide V formation high above the river valley.
A second later, a voice rang across the valley, amplified through a speaker.
Leo: Stood at the deck, with his hand wide open "Jarvis, let it rain bullets!!"
Jarvis: " Yes, young master!"
From each of the five airships, dozens of rotating side cannons came out and they unleashed a torrent of bullets. The sky rippled with fire.
RATATATATATATAT
The valley exploded in chaos. Tents burst into flame which caused stored explosive tags to ignite. BOOM..!! Shockwaves blew ninjas off their feet before they even knew what hit them.
Uzumaki Elder: Shouted "Earth units make a formation!"
Dozens of Uzumaki and Senju leapt into action.
"Earth Release: Earth Wall!"
"Earth Release: Earth Shield Rampart!"
"Earth Release: Earth Dome!"
Massive walls of earth erupted from the ground, forming a defensive dome of protection. Chakra was funneled into the rock to prevent from falling apart. The bullets hammered down like a storm.
After few mins the bullet rain stopped and everything went silent, Uzumaki and Senju were hiding ready for a second wave.
Uchiha Sky Ship
Jarvis: "Young master, we are out of bullets."
Leo: "Still, many survived."
Tajima and Uchiha ninjas who were standing beside Leo were more horrified than the Uzumaki and Senju clan combined. First, their 3rd young master has made a ship that can fly and now it has unleashed massive destruction.
They all looked at Leo and thought "Thank God! He is an Uchiha....!!"
Uchiha Leo wanted the whole Land of Fire to witness this battle, so he was broadcasting it to the all the people who have purchased television from UchihaEnterprises.
Madara and Izuna with other clan members were watching it Live from the clan land, Tajima did not allow them to join the war. He allowed Leo because he had teleportation Jutsu and can slip away.
