Chapter 1 Episode 3 : Eye Opener
Ark~ The Truth

Godbanda- walks into his father's office he pulls out a chair "father why won't we just give the dragon clan their rightful place in the city?"
Johan- looks down "if only it was that simple son…there's way more to the story that you're not ready to know."
Godbanda- slams fist "WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOT READY…dad I'm not a kid anymore I think I should at least know why one of the founding clans isn't in their rightful place in a city they help create."
Johan- sighs "son the reason the dragon clan isn't in their rightful place is because your grandfather put one of the dragon clans members under a curse using the eye of time…the thing is I don't know what his plan was and putting the dragon clan in charge of the city with that one member could ruin the dragon clan's name."
Godbanda- "so all we have to do is find out who in the dragon clan hates us…well that should be easy."
Johan- pats son shoulder " it's much stronger than just hate son…look don't stress on it too much go to sleep we can make plans in the morning."
Godbanda gets up he hugs his father than walks to his room he stares at the window for a moment just thinking of all the possibilities then it clicks tatsumi pops up in godbanda's head he lays down waiting to act on his plan tomorrow
The next day…
Tatsumi- punched the wall "so you decided knocking me out was the way to go huh…I should beat your ass right now ishimoto!"
Ishimoto- "And how do you think that would go?… Right knocking you out was the best thing to do. You were pissing me off & you're a hothead. I had the situation perfectly fine. Be glad we got what YOU wanted." Pushes his finger in tatsumi's chest
Kaku starts charging up an attack ishimoto disappears then reappears behind him
Ishimoto- "if you want to fight we can but we all know how that's going to end."
Mazoku & hottokiru walks in mazoku smirks tatsumi notices this & and throws a golden beam at mazoku who redirects it back towards him tatsumi not expecting this gets hit in the head
Tatsumi- looks around confused then rubs his head "what's going on?"
Mazoku- raises eyebrow 'I got to call godbanda' tabs hottokiru who nods "we're going to be back"
The duo teleports to their team meeting place godbanda is already there
Godbanda- "so you found out which member it is?"
Mazoku- "tatsumi"
Hottokiru- "honestly it makes sense he only started to act like this after the selection, maybe he programmed it so when he passes the selection the mind control takes over that would make the most sense."
Godbanda- rubs chin "what if my grandfather is still alive?"
Mazoku- "that wouldn't be impossible since my grandfather is still alive."
Godbanda- "the only other thing I could think of is my dad is lying & he did this himself mazoku did you talk to tatsumi before the whole transformation."
Mazoku- "of course I did, he's my cousin, he was always the quiet type, never caused fights, he only acted like this after."
Godbanda- clovers his face with both of his hands "I just don't understand why my father would do this. I never knew the hate ran this deep."
Hottokiru- "The only thing I can think of is when my brother was about to leave for a mission he was talking to tenshi about how odda tori jr was mind controlling your father there's more but I don't think it's my place to tell you."
Mazoku- "shouldn't have said anything then dumba## but if that's the case I'm sorry godbanda but johan but be an enemy."
Godbanda- "it's ok mazoku i just need some time to think."
Mazoku & hottokiru teleports back to the hideout
Hottokiru- glances at mazoku who was in his thoughts "think he's going to sell us out."
Mazoku- shakes head "I knew him since I was a baby but I wouldn't be mad at him, it is his family we're talking about."
Hottokiru- throws arm around mazoku's neck "I don't think you have to worry about that after what he finds out he going to hate his family."
They walk in Kaku & tatsumi is talking to ishimoto
Tatsumi- looks at mazoku " I'm sorry cousin I did—-"
Mazoku- "your fine tatsumi you're wasn't yourself I understand ishimoto you know what happened?"
Ishimoto- "with that beam you stopped the control for a little while he started to attack again so I beamed him again but i used my dragon eyes to kill the virus from the inside so he's back to normal. Where's godbanda?"
Mazoku- "odda clan meeting ishimoto you think you could teach me how to use my dragon eye to its fullest potential?"
Ishimoto- smiles " I'm the wrong one to ask. I barely know how to use my Eyes to their full potential, I only have the mind aspect of the dragon eyes down."
Hottokiru- "mazoku you know your uncle is known to have mastered the dragon eye so has your father why not ask them?"
Mazoku- "I want to learn to control the mind aspect of my dragon eye you never know, Johan might try to mind control any of us."
Ishimoto- "well you don't have to worry about that you do have the power of the phoenix with you & I don't think johan can control anybody that looked like a Me no
nōryoku attack"
Mazoku- "so the eye of time Johan has it doe"
Hottokiru- "I don't think he mastered the eye of time it's been about 5 years since he had its almost time for godbanda to get it"
Mazoku- "yeah & we have the passage of time so we might as well tell him it was us who attacked the house of knowledge"
Hottokiru- "yeah right"

Jace- "any news on the odda city civil war?"
Karasu- "no it seems the tension between the dragon clan & odda clan has died down."
Jace- smiles "let's speed this up, send godbanda a message, let's see how he feels about his clan after he knows the truth."
Karasu- "brother this isn't our place."
Jace gets up he slaps Karasu in the face she falls to the ground then he reinforces his foot with red matter then kicks Karasu in the stomach
Jace- "have you lost your mind we need the phoenix flame to unlock the doors of the zone…mother would be ashamed."
Karasu- hold her stomach 'mother wouldn't want this."

Godbanda- "I can't believe my father would mind control tatsumi…just to put the dragon clan in a bad light I'm starting to think the things they said about the dragon clan were about us."
*knock on window* godbanda gets up & open the window a letter falls in his room he picks up the letter then starts reading it
~~Godbanda son of Johan the next leader of the odda clan how would you feel if you knew your grandfather killed your mother then blamed it on the dragon clan he used the eye of time on your father to keep him under his command to keep the dragon clan at bay jealous of light on the dragon clan he didn't like that everyone looked at them as gods he thought the odda clan deserved all the credit…what if you can change your clan ways it might take time but your clan can be saved before the great awakening happens…~~
Godbanda- tear falls on the letter "so it is true…father…mother" drops down to his knees
~~flashback~~
Godbanda- looks at tv
News reporter- "in to nights news…wife of the cities leader has been murdered there hasn't been any updates on the incident—-"
Godbanda- tears start falling "MOM" punches the tv he pulls his hand out of the tv with shards poking out of his bloody hand
Johan slowly opens the door godbanda head shoots to door he puts his hand behind his back & turns to the tv Johan looks at the tv then looks at godbanda's hand he does this 2 times before he says something
Johan- "godbanda I can see your hands"
Godbanda- slowly turns around "d-did u h-hear what happened to m-mom?" He tries to say without shedding a tear
Johan- looks down "yes son I know" walks to godbanda then rests his hand on his shoulder "everything is going to be ok."
