Chapter 53 – High-end Villain Who Regrets Nothing
Lux raised a brow, clearly enjoying this more than he should.
"What did the doctor say?" he asked, as if she hadn't just confessed to lightly manhandling his unconscious body.
"She said…" Rava folded her arms, still red. "You're fine. Not a scratch. Just a few bruises. She was confused too."
"Good," he said simply. Then casually sat up all the way and began buttoning his shirt like this was a completely normal Wednesday.
Rava blinked. "So… that blood… was it yours or—?"
"Mine," Lux said without hesitation. "But let's just say… I regenerate fast. Bloodline stuff."
Rava frowned. "Stuff like that exists?"
Lux looked at her, a hint of that glint back in his eyes. "You'd be surprised what exists, Miss Bluewave."
She studied him for a moment. He looked perfectly relaxed again. Like he didn't just drop half-dead into her car last night. Like he hadn't been bleeding through luxury leather onto her upholstery.
