Chapter 88 - 532

When Senichi arrived in this real world, although the timeline remained a mystery, many facts still existed.

For example, during elementary school class hours, when there was usually no case happening, Conan and his little friends would attend classes and leave school together like any ordinary student.

These times were extremely mundane, with nothing noteworthy happening, and they were even covered in one sentence.

Occasionally, during idle chats, he would hear from Haibara that they, along with the kids, went out to play and returned safely. Only then did he realize that Conan wasn't entirely a "walk into danger" kind of person...

Could it be that I happened to run into the mundane time?

Thinking about it, Senichi felt it wasn't entirely impossible.

He had known Conan for quite some time now, and there had never been a meeting outside the "safe and sound card" time that didn't trigger a case.

Could it be that this time I just happened to catch it?

With this in mind, Senichi felt that it might indeed be a historic moment of witnessing a "once in a millennium" event - traveling with Conan and not witnessing a murder.

Shaking his head, Senichi thought that this idea was too naive. So, he decided to stick to the original plan and be cautious. There was no harm in being careful.

In the blink of an eye, Senichi, along with the others, had reached the entrance.

"There are so many people." Genta looked at the long queue and smiled at Senichi. "Detective Senichi, look, so many people came to watch the performance. It shows that Kamen Yaiba Galaxy Archer is also very popular!"

Facing Genta's misunderstanding, Senichi couldn't laugh or cry and said, "Alright, alright. I know how popular it is by looking at the number of people. Hurry up and get in line."

"So many people, I wonder if there are any limited handshake tickets left..." Mitsuhiko looked ahead with some worry. "I still want to take a photo and shake hands with Kamen Yaiba..."

"But it seems like we came a bit late..." Ayumi also expressed concern. "I hope we won't miss our turn..."

"No worries! We'll definitely get there!" Genta confidently declared without any basis. "There are still plenty of handshake tickets!"

As time passed, Senichi and the others also moved closer. When the children in front of them bought handshake tickets, Genta grinned triumphantly, "See! I told you they would have them for sale..."

"Sorry... Handshake tickets are sold out."

As if to embarrass Genta, when Senichi bought tickets and handshake vouchers from the ticket seller, the person smiled apologetically at Senichi and the others, delivering this awkward news.

"How could this happen..."

The disappointment on the faces of the three children was evident. Genta, who felt severely embarrassed, even ran up to the ticket seller and pleaded, "Please make an exception! Please, sell them to us!!"

"Well..." The ticket seller looked at Genta in distress and apologized, "I'm really sorry, but our handshake tickets are already sold out."

"But!!"

Genta was still unwilling to accept it, while Conan, who was standing nearby, sighed and held Genta back. "Don't trouble everyone. If they're sold out, they're sold out. Let's go inside quickly; everyone is waiting behind us."

Without waiting for Genta's reaction, Conan pushed him straight through the entrance and into the stage area.

"Sorry for the trouble." After purchasing six tickets, Senichi followed the kids into the venue under the ticket seller's apologies.

After buying drinks for the five children, Senichi sat down with a cup of iced coffee on the open-air seats.

Then, the performance that made Senichi feel extremely cringed began.

It's not that the actors weren't exciting or the fight scenes weren't impressive.

Looking at the cheers of the children around him, accompanied by their excitement during the plot twists and worries when the protagonist was in trouble, it was evident that the actors were performing quite well.

But... for adults, it really felt awkward, full of adolescent vibes.

However, the atmosphere at the venue was genuinely enthusiastic, with children fully immersed and even parents actively interacting with the stage.

Not even twenty minutes in, Senichi couldn't bear it anymore and decided to start digesting the knowledge he had won in a recent lottery.

After all, the last ten draws yielded quite a few practical skills. Senichi took the digestion process seriously, saving skills like unarmed combat for times when he practiced with others, aiming to maximize the effectiveness of his knowledge.

It was fortunate that the Metropolitan Police Department had a dedicated training ground and a fixed monthly quota for bullets at the shooting range. This allowed Senichi to have a place to practice.

Otherwise, it would have been challenging for Senichi to find enough sparring partners and the necessary equipment and space for shooting practice.

Of course, among the skills available for practice, there are those that are not necessary. The knowledge Senichi is currently digesting falls into this category, such as chess, a skill that doesn't require much practice.

It's not that playing chess with others is unnecessary, but rather this skill is not very important. Being a bit slower or less skilled doesn't matter much, as Senichi has no intention of winning championships or investing too much energy into it.

With tasks at hand, time flies, and soon the first performance comes to an end.

"That was really exciting!" Ayumi expressed her satisfaction after watching. "The actor, Hiroshi Miwa, who plays Kamen Yaiba, did a great job, and he looks handsome too!"

"But the performance of Kamen Yaiba was a bit disappointing," Genta frowned. "They even let the criminal get hold of the transformation emblem."

"That's their usual tactic!" Mitsuhiko laughed. "When the second act starts, we'll see Kamen Yaiba's entrance!"

Genta stood up and said, "I'm going to the restroom, anyone coming with me?"

This proposal received a positive response from the group. After informing Senichi, they formed a team and headed to the restroom.

Senichi looked at the long line of restrooms and felt that it probably wasn't a suitable place for committing a crime, so he let them go.

Since there were quite a few people, and they were in no hurry, they decided to sit on the nearby grass and wait for the others to finish.

While sitting on the grass, Mitsuhiko and others saw a boy happily talking to his companions while holding handshake vouchers. Their faces couldn't help but reveal envy.

On the other hand, Genta, whose face was swollen from being embarrassed, couldn't help but feel upset. He complained, "That ticket seller was really mean!"

"Don't be angry, Genta." Mitsuhiko smiled and patted Genta's shoulder. "There's nothing we can do about it since the handshake tickets were sold out."

"Yeah, it's just bad luck. Genta, don't blame the ticket seller." Ayumi also echoed.

"It's not that!" Genta, with an angry expression, revealed what he had seen: "Let me tell you guys, when I went to ask the ticket seller to sell us the tickets, I saw it.

In the handshake coupon box, there were still a lot of tickets left!"
