Act 5 – Scene 1
"The Surprise Office Visit Invitation"
The hallway stretched out like a silent runway of tension
beneath her feet, every step echoing with questions she didn't
dare voice. Then, from the grand doorway ahead, he
appeared—the ever-dignified Lian, Andrew's stoic assistant,
bowing ever so slightly as if greeting royalty.
"Miss Sarah," he said with his usual calm elegance, "shall we
go?"
Sarah nodded, flustered. "Yes. I mean—yeah."
She followed him, her heart skipping uneven beats as they
stepped into the long driveway where a sleek black Maybach
waited like a panther coiled to pounce. She hesitated before
slipping into the backseat, instantly recognizing it. Andrew's
favorite car. The one he used every day to go to work.
She remembered overhearing whispers from the maids—how
Mr. Andrew Knight was impossibly private. Sophisticated.
Untouchable. The kind of man who shared nothing—not his
space, not his silence, not his cars. And yet… here she was,
riding in his world. Unbelievable.
The car purred to life.
Trying to sound casual, she asked, "How much time will it take
to get there?"
Lian's lips curved into a gentle smile, his eyes never leaving
the road. "Not much. We'll be there soon."
But Sarah's thoughts weren't on the distance—they were
tangled in the mystery of why. Why had Andrew summoned
her to his office? Was she in trouble? Was this a test? Was he
going to scold her… or something worse—care?
When they arrived, Lian led her through the dazzling glass
lobby of AK Corporation, past stares and subtle bows from
staff who didn't dare whisper. They reached a private elevator
—the kind only one man used. Andrew's elevator.
The elevator stopped with a soft ding at the top floor—his
private lounge.
Meanwhile, inside that very lounge, Sam sprawled across the
velvet couch, grinning like he had front-row seats to a
forbidden romance.
"Hey, Mr. Ice," he teased, tilting his head toward Andrew, who
was busy trying not to look nervous. "I didn't think she'd
actually come. She's just so… innocent. And cute. Like,
dangerously cute. She barely reaches your chest and yet here
you are—turning into a complete softie."
Andrew didn't respond.
He didn't have to.
His silence said enough.
But behind those glass walls and velvet lounges, something deeper stirred.
Not just secrets… not just power.
But a man on the verge of unraveling—
And a girl who has no idea what she's just walked into.
Will Sarah finally confront the tension between them?
Will Andrew speak… or stay shackled in silence?
And what does he really want from her?
A warning?
A confession?
Or… something far more dangerous?
The door to his world has opened.
But can she handle what waits behind it?
