They left the boss arena and continued advancing through the dark corridors of the Twilight Pit for a long time. Only their footsteps echoing off the walls and the gentle clicking of Boney Stark's bones broke the silence. Boran wondered about his new companion's combat abilities.
As they rounded a sharp turn in the corridor, three dark silhouettes appeared before them, gliding stealthily in the dim light. Hisses cut through the damp air seeping from the walls, and Boran's heart stopped—these were Dark Crawlers! Their scaly skin gleamed menacingly in the flickering light of the mushrooms.
Boran quickly looked at Boney Stark. "Here's our first battle! Are you ready?"
The skeleton archer responded by drawing his bow. The blue fire in his eye sockets grew brighter. As Boran drew his shield, the Dark Crawlers noticed them and took offensive positions.
Boney Stark made the first move. He drew his bow and aimed his arrow at the nearest crawler. The arrow whistled through the air and struck its target. [60 damage dealt]

"Nice shot! So you can kill them with one arrow!" Boran shouted as he charged forward.
One of the crawlers lunged at Boran, baring its venomous fangs. As the creature's scaly skin gleamed in the dim light, Boran skillfully dodged to the side and shouted "SSB!" like a battle cry.

Right after, Boney Stark fired another arrow. It whistled through the air but missed its target, shattering against the stone floor beside Boran. The sound of his bony fingers releasing the bowstring betrayed his disappointment.
"We need to work on your accuracy..."
The third crawler turned toward Boney Stark. The skeleton archer was nocking an arrow at that moment. Seeing this, Boran immediately ran to his side. Just as the Dark Crawler was about to bite Boney Stark's foot, Boran grabbed its tail and pulled it back.
Boney Stark had nocked his arrow. He drew his bow and aimed at the crawler right below his feet. He released the string, but the arrow missed the crawler and stuck in the ground.
"How did you miss something right under your feet?!"
The crawler Boran was holding suddenly turned and lunged with its sharp teeth toward him. Boran shouted "IS!" at the last moment. His body became slightly heavier.

Boran gritted his teeth, determination crossing his face. He narrowed his eyes and tensed his muscles, preparing for the approaching pain. He knew it would hurt.

He felt a slight itch and tingling in his arm. He nervously opened his eyes and looked down. The Dark Crawler had gripped his arm with its sharp teeth but couldn't penetrate his skin.
Boran let out a slight laugh. "Looks like I have more damage reduction than the damage you deal!"
Just then, the distant crawler spewed a greenish liquid toward Boney Stark. The acid traced a deadly arc as it gleamed in the air. Seeing his companion in danger, Boran acted instinctively. He raised his shield just in time to catch the acid. The green liquid hissed as it slid down the wood.

"Are you alright, Boney?" called out Boran, while struggling to control the crawler wrestling with his arm.
The skeleton archer responded by drawing his bow. The blue fire in his eye sockets blazed brighter. The sound of his bony fingers drawing the bowstring drowned out the crawlers' hisses. The arrow struck the crawler biting Boran right in the head. The creature's jaw loosened and released Boran's arm.

Just then, the third Dark Crawler reached Boran's side. Boran held his shield in front and shouted "SSB!"

Boney Stark had already drawn his bow. He released the string and the arrow struck the Dark Crawler in the head.

When the battle was over, Boran took a deep breath and looked at Boney Stark. "We did well. Especially you... amazing marksmanship!"
The skeleton archer, with blue fire dancing in his eye sockets, bowed his head gratefully. He stroked his bow with his bony hands and prepared a new arrow.
"I'm being sarcastic. We really need to work on your marksmanship."
A notification appeared.

Boran also received a notification:
