Yuira looked up at the bell tower, a small smile playing on his lips, then teleported to the top of it. From her vantage point, he saw the Demons slaughtering citizens and adventurers. "It seems I'll have to use my power," Yuira murmured. He conjured a radiant light and held it in her hand.
The light dissipated, revealing a white book adorned with bright yellow patterns—Divine Book. This was a tome of his own creation, akin to a Magic Book or Grimoire, but exclusively focused on Divine Magic.
A colossal white Magic Circle, emblazoned with the symbol of a pair of angel wings, materialized above his. The circle glowed with an intensity that rivaled the rising sun. Everyone, including the Demons, fell silent, mesmerized by the sudden burst of light.
"W-What is that?" Mercenary Knight muttered, staring at the luminescence.
"That's my brother's Divine Magic Circle," Yuna explained, walking closer to Mercenary Knight and looking up at Yuira. "It seems he's about to use Divine Magic." Bandit Knight and Shadow Knight stood frozen, gazing at the radiant light above the bell tower.
Had the sun risen? Shadow Knight squinted, trying to clear his vision. No, it's a Magic Circle!
Mercenary Knight, curiosity piqued, asked, "Divine Magic? What kind of magic is that?"
Yuna began to explain, "It's an ancient magic. Its power is even stronger than Holy Magic. My mother once taught him, and my brother developed that Magic until he was nicknamed 'Divine Saint'."
Yuira opened the Divine Book to page 13 and chanted, "Divine Shards."
Dozens of smaller Divine Magic Circles appeared around Yuira. These circles then fired bright white, glass-like fragments at the Demons. The fragments effortlessly cut down the Demons.
Bandit Knight saw a Divine Shard heading towards Shadow Knight. He immediately dashed towards Shadow Knight, kicked him out of the way, and then leaped backward. The Divine Shard struck another Demon, obliterating it. Shadow Knight looked at Yuira from a distance, then lowered his gaze to see Hell Knight and Saint Knight approaching them.
Saint Knight charged forward towards Shadow Knight. Shadow Knight lunged to stab his head, but Saint Knight tilted his head to dodge and swung his sword sideways, aiming for Shadow Knight's neck.
However, Shadow Knight incredibly swiftly kicked Saint Knight in the stomach, forcing him down. Saint Knight's head slammed into the ground with such force that the road cracked. Shadow Knight then stomped on his head.
Unbeknownst to Shadow Knight, Hell Knight was now at his side. Hell Knight swung his sword sideways, sending Shadow Knight flying into a nearby house. Hell Knight immediately turned and swung his sword downwards.
Bandit Knight, who had attempted a stealthy attack, managed to block Hell Knight's strike. Saint Knight slowly got up, a trickle of blood escaping his helmet. Now standing beside Bandit Knight, Saint Knight delivered a powerful Back Kick, sending Bandit Knight reeling into another house.
"I'll handle him," Saint Knight declared.
Hell Knight replied, "Alright."
Shadow Knight emerged from the ruined house, seeing Hell Knight approaching him. Shadow Knight swiftly lunged, stabbing Hell Knight multiple times. The blows landed, leaving wounds, but Hell Knight began to regenerate slowly. Hell Knight swung his sword sideways. Shadow Knight blocked the attack and quickly stabbed again, but Hell Knight tilted his body and punched him, sending him backward.
Shadow Knight immediately got up and charged at Hell Knight. He plunged his Lance into Hell Knight's stomach, drawing blood, but Hell Knight remained standing. He continued to swing his sword, but Shadow Knight deftly dodged every attack, relentlessly stabbing him.
Bandit Knight rose to his feet, spotting Saint Knight advancing towards him. Saint Knight was quickly upon him, swinging his sword, but Bandit Knight skillfully parried the attack with his left sword.
Bandit Knight then produced a Dagger and plunged it into Saint Knight's forearm. Saint Knight merely stared, unmoving, as Bandit Knight swiftly kicked him, forcing Saint Knight back a few steps.
Saint Knight pulled the embedded dagger from his forearm, then instantly hurled it at Bandit Knight. Bandit Knight parried the thrown dagger, sending it flying upwards. Saint Knight was instantly in front of him. Bandit Knight caught the rebounding dagger and swung his arm downwards, but Saint Knight blocked it with his forearm. Then, he thrust his sword into Bandit Knight's stomach. Bandit Knight immediately kicked Saint Knight again, sending him back a few steps. Bandit Knight touched his wounded stomach, then drew his other sword.
Bandit Knight immediately charged forward, swinging his right sword downwards. Saint Knight spun and swung his sword sideways, but Bandit Knight stabbed him with his left sword, causing Saint Knight to tilt his body, his slash barely missing Bandit Knight. Saint Knight then quickly jumped backward.
Bandit Knight immediately turned and ran towards Saint Knight, successfully slashing Saint Knight's left lower abdomen. Saint Knight turned and saw Bandit Knight running towards a box he was carrying.
Bandit Knight immediately threw the box at Saint Knight. As the box shattered, a sand-like substance coated Saint Knight's armor and the surrounding area. Saint Knight realized this was gunpowder.
Bandit Knight smiled. "Good thing I brought this box of gunpowder."
He quickly grabbed a burning piece of wood, then threw it towards the gunpowder. Before the wood could hit the gunpowder, Saint Knight was incredibly fast, appearing in front of it. The gunpowder then exploded as Saint Knight relentlessly slashed Bandit Knight multiple times. Bandit Knight, wounded and cornered, swiftly kicked Saint Knight, making him stumble back a few steps. He then immediately dashed towards Shadow Knight.
Shadow Knight began to turn, but suddenly, before him, lay a mountain-like pile of Demon Beast corpses. The surrounding landscape, once stone buildings, had transformed into red-leaved trees, and the sky above was also crimson. Shadow Knight didn't recognize this place, but one chilling thought came to him: the Demon Forest.
Shadow Knight turned back, seeing Hell Knight before him, raising his sword. Shadow Knight was shocked, and Hell Knight immediately swung his sword downwards. Shadow Knight leaped backward, dodging Hell Knight's attack. Shadow Knight then immediately aimed his Lance at Hell Knight, and yellow lightning began to appear, striking the surroundings. He knew that if he didn't attack with full power, he would die.
As Shadow Knight was about to unleash his full power, Bandit Knight swiftly pulled him away, and they fled towards the Demon Kingdom. Yuira, observing their retreat, dispelled her Magic Circle and slowly descended. Once she landed safely, Hell Knight and Saint Knight approached her.
"I want to join," Hell Knight stated.
Yuira began to smile. "Good, from now on you are a member of the Knights Of Human."
A few hours later, inside the Demonic Palace, Bandit Knight and Shadow Knight arrived. They saw that Demon Knight and Zombie Knight had already returned. Dark Mage walked towards them.
Dark Mage questioned Bandit Knight and Shadow Knight. "Did you successfully destroy that city?"
Bandit Knight replied, "Apologies, Master, we almost completely destroyed the city, but there was someone who seemed to be a Light Magic user and two Knights who obstructed us."
"A Light Magic user? Ah... Could it be that Saint?" He turned. "It's alright, besides, we have a new member... Come out."
Someone emerged from the shadows of the wall. That person was wearing Full White Armor with blue cloth on his helmet. That person was Sword Knight.
