Chapter 130 - Chapter 133: Mangekyō Sharingan’s Eye Techniques

Looking through the history of the Uchiha clan, it is confirmed that twelve individuals have awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan: Indra, Uchiha Rai, Uchiha Baru, Uchiha Naka, Uchiha Naori, Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Izuna, Uchiha Fugaku, Uchiha Shisui, Uchiha Obito, Uchiha Itachi, and Uchiha Sasuke.

(Note: Uchiha Shin is not a true Uchiha clan member and is excluded. The Sage of Six Paths directly evolved from three-tomoe Sharingan into the Rinnegan, thus is not counted as awakening Mangekyō.)

Now, Uchiha Yuan has become the thirteenth person to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan.

With eyes closed, Uchiha Yuan felt the transformation of his eyes.

Unlike other Uchiha who must experience some trigger to discover their Mangekyō abilities, Yuan understood his eye techniques shortly after adjusting to the transformation.

His left eye's technique is named Magatsuhi(禍津), and his right eye's Inari (稻荷).

Both are gods from the Land of Japan. Wazunokami is the god of calamity, Inari the god of harvest—aptly reflecting the nature of their powers.

Magatsuhi enhances ninjutsu's offensive power and places a curse mark on any enemy hit. During the effect duration, the target suffers continuous loss of vitality and chakra, with no means of recovery.

Inari absorbs the vitality and chakra drained from enemies marked by Magatsuhi and returns it to Yuan.

Furthermore, Inari doesn't only work in tandem with Magatsuhi—it can also absorb ambient life force and chakra from natural loss.

As Magatsuhi brings calamity, Yuan's technique brings constant damage. As Inari brings harvest, Yuan's version reaps vitality and chakra, feeding his own strength.

After awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan, Yuan seized the moment and took out the syringe Hyuga Asana had given him.

He rolled up his sleeve and injected the milky-white liquid into his body.

About half an hour later, he felt internal changes begin to occur.

Unfortunately, Yuan lacked the ability to see inside his own body, or else he would have seen his cells fusing with the First Hokage's cells.

Since Senju and Uchiha shared a common ancestor, after some clashes, the first fused cell emerged.

This new cell was much more active than the rest. However, due to the weakening of Hashirama's cells by Orochimaru and Asana, it wasn't aggressive—just active, bouncing through his bloodstream.

Minutes passed, and Yuan's other cells began to mimic its behavior, gradually changing under its influence.

It was like a workplace: when one employee is praised for doing something, others imitate it to win favor, triggering a widespread shift.

With the first "taste of success," others followed. Cells were no different.

After a while, Yuan could clearly feel his vitality rapidly increasing, and the stat on his panel began to soar—soon surpassing 100 and still climbing.

His chakra amount also grew at the same time.

An hour later, his level reached 50. He claimed a golden reward box but didn't open it, since the boost in vitality and chakra hadn't yet stopped.

Unconsciously, an entire night passed. By noon the next day, the boost finally stopped.

Yuan slowly opened his eyes. His Sharingan shifted from the six-pointed star back to three tomoe, then rapidly spun and returned to the six-pointed star.

Although the visual pattern hadn't changed, something was clearly different.

He tested it by using Body Flicker repeatedly, leaving the Uchiha compound and heading to the outskirts of the village.

Yuan formed hand seals and summoned Lightning (his bird summon).

He leapt onto Lightning's back. Now, with a wingspan over 4 meters, Lightning no longer just dragged Yuan through the sky—it carried him with ease.

"Lightning, take me to some random bandit group."

"Understood," Lightning replied, his body crackling with electricity. Empowered by Lightning Chakra Mode, Lightning shot across the sky like a thunderbolt.

A few minutes later, they reached the border of the Land of Fire, where a large group of bandits gathered.

Yuan jumped off Lightning's back and used them to test his Mangekyō techniques. He quickly confirmed their traits.

He also discovered: when his Mangekyō drained eye power, the vitality within his body automatically converted into more ocular power. With this cycle, there was no more fear of blindness.

But he didn't celebrate for long—his entire body was sending one clear message: he was starving!

Converting vitality into ocular power required vitality, and the best way to replenish it was… eating.

Yuan ordered Lightning to fly him back to Konoha. He ran straight to Ichiraku Ramen.

"Yo, Yuan! What'll you have today?" Teuchi called out warmly.

"Anything! Just give me a lot of it!" Yuan's body screamed for nourishment—there was no time to be picky.

Teuchi was fast, and soon a steaming bowl of seafood ramen was placed in front of him.

Yuan didn't wait for it to cool—he picked up the bowl and started devouring it. Teuchi immediately went to prepare the second bowl.

One cooked, one ate.

After more than ten bowls, Yuan finally felt the hunger subside.

But that was only the hunger. Yuan realized that the more he ate, the more his vitality and chakra increased.

For the next two days, he roamed through every eatery in Konoha, using "Life Return" to absorb energy from his meals.

After two days of crazed consumption, his cells had absorbed massive energy. Only then did the growth in vitality and chakra stop.

Now that his body had adapted to the new cells, the massive vitality they contained began feeding back into his body.

The most obvious change? He had grown several centimeters taller in just a few days.

All this was reflected in Yuan's stats:

Chakra: 839

Constitution: 233

Ocular Power: 1001

Vitality: 440

Nature Affinity: 4

Level: Lv57 (14/100)

Attribute Points: 0
