"Yes!!" The staff immediately responded and began preparing the children to escape, with a few staff members even pulling out Poké Balls.

"Everyone, leave this to us uncles. You all follow Professor Oak to the camp first," the staff members shouted to the children, holding their Poké Balls.

Two staff members protected the children and Professor Oak, running down the path ahead. The Spearows in the air, seeing this, immediately swooped down.

Bang bang!!!! Two flames attacked from behind, forcing the Spearows to scatter and dodge. Behind the two staff members, two canine Pokémon stood, one orange with a cream-colored muzzle and belly, black stripes on its body, and thick manes on its head and neck.

Growlithe, a good partner to humans and trainers, was not only raised by ordinary families but also actively cultivated by the police in this world. To be safe, the staff members brought Pokémon, all of which were raised in Professor Oak's laboratory.

"Now, everyone, stick close to me!" Professor Oak, seeing the path opening up, simultaneously shouted to the children. He took the lead, signaling the children to follow, with two staff members covering their flanks. But some children couldn't help but cry loudly, only caring about frantically fleeing.

Ash followed at the very end, looking at the Spearows around him, couldn't help but internally complain. Sure enough, wherever the protagonist goes, something has to happen. He couldn't remember how many times Ash had provoked Spearows, Beedrill, and such in the anime.

But now, he couldn't do anything, after all, he wasn't a trainer yet. In Ash's opinion, a trainer didn't necessarily have to be 10 years old; 10 was just the age for qualification, similar to a coming-of-age ceremony. But in Ash's current situation, with an adult's soul, if he had a Pokémon, he could definitely fight. But now he didn't have a Pokémon, so he could only keep running.

After the Spearows were driven away by Growlithe's attacks, they didn't give up. They were a species that would never let go of intruders into their territory unless they were defeated. Otherwise, they would pursue them over a large area.

Some Spearows immediately changed direction and chased after the fleeing crowd, while others surrounded the staff members who had attacked them, preventing them from providing support. Spearow is a gregarious creature, very good at team combat, and can even be said to have a tactical sense.

"The situation is bad, hurry up and deal with this here!" The staff members immediately said when they saw this scene. If anything happened to the children, it would be troublesome.

"Yes!"

On the other side, Ash fled with Professor Oak and the children, but found that the Spearows behind them were relentlessly pursuing. How could a human's running speed be faster than a Spearow's? Before they knew it, the Spearows had caught up and were circling above them.

Caw caw!!! The Spearows immediately launched their attack. Many children covered their heads and cried loudly. The two staff members also released their Growlithe and began to attack.

"Children, come to our side!" Hearing the call, the children immediately gathered around the two staff members and Professor Oak, directly surrounding the three of them, making it impossible for Professor Oak and the two staff members to move. They could only use their hands to protect the children while issuing attack commands to Growlithe, then, while Growlithe attacked, they created space and continued to retreat with the children.

After much struggling, they entered a dense forest. The Spearows finally stopped pursuing, because although Spearows had a presence in the jungle, flying in the dense forest was disadvantageous for them. Coupled with the threat of Growlithe, they did not rashly pursue. They had finally escaped a calamity. Professor Oak quickly signaled, leading the children to the campsite.

Twenty minutes later, they finally reached the campsite with the children. Professor Oak and the others also breathed a sigh of relief, and the children were all exhausted, though some were still crying. However, the children of this world were indeed more adaptable to such situations than the children of Ash's previous world. Under the staff's comfort, their emotions gradually calmed down.

"Professor!" At this moment, from the forest, several figures ran over. They were the staff members who were previously responsible for intercepting most of the Spearows. They all looked a bit disheveled, but were otherwise fine.

"Everyone's alright, are you alright?" "We're fine, how are the children?" The staff members asked worriedly. After all, it was their oversight; they hadn't investigated carefully enough before. Spearow is inherently a Pokémon with a strong territorial instinct and is domineering. They don't have a fixed territory, and they also like to compete for others' territories.

They would immediately forcefully seize a territory if they thought another Pokémon's territory was better. Once the resources in that place were depleted, they would immediately look for other territories, so it was a migratory lifestyle. They should have thought of this earlier.

"Everyone's fine, don't worry!" "Grandpa!!! Ash... Ash is gone!!" At this moment, an exclamation rang out. The one who would call Professor Oak "Grandpa" here was naturally Gary. Gary, unlike other children, wasn't crying from fright. After he came to his senses, he saw the other children crying and instinctively wanted to see if Ash was crying to make fun of him.

But after a careful look, he discovered that Ash was not in the group at all, and immediately shouted in worry. So, the one who truly cares for you is the one who truly worries about you. Although he often teased and argued, when Ash was truly gone, he worried more than anyone else.

"What?? Everyone, quickly check if any other children are missing." Professor Oak was startled when he heard this and immediately shouted to the staff. Professor Oak was still calm and didn't panic because Ash was missing. First, he wanted to confirm if any other children besides Ash were lost. When the Spearows attacked, the situation was too chaotic, so it was impossible to be sure.

"Yes!" The staff members immediately began taking roll call to confirm if anyone else was missing. Soon, the staff members' faces changed.
