Chapter 6: The Last Hoshizaki, Karito Hoshizaki
"It is said the last Hoshizaki was him. Were the records wrong?"
The Miracle Trinity rest for a moment after the fight. Akari notices the Viremites are gone.
Sora takes note of this. Sora (thinking): "Wait… aren't there records about the last Hoshizaki?"
The trio then notices a red aura glowing form a nearby alley. Santu: "Hey, what's that red kind of aura over there?" Akari & Kade shrug. They head toward the red aura and find a large glowing red shard. The soldiers approach, lifting the red shard onto the carriage and covering it with a big grey tarp.
At an unknown location…
???: "DAMN IT! Who is he with?! WHY IS HE STILL ALIVE?! RAHH! Hey, Cabi—kill him, if his powers awaken… we're doomed. Damn that clan, I'll never forgive him for giving me this scar. Such a disgrace! I shan't accept this."
Meanwhile, at the RSG HQ.
The Miracle Trinity together with the soldiers arrive at the castle. They enter the castle and head to the meeting room. It seems there is a meeting with all the Captains and Eclipse Council.
They check attendance.
Everyone is present.
Sora: "Good evening, everyone. I have brought you all here to discuss an important matter—a Hoshizaki."
Akio: "Huh? A Hoshizaki?"
Aki: "No way. Not possible. *laughs*"
Lysandra: "Okay quiet down everyone. We were shocked too, but we have some proof. Sora, go ahead and present… the you-know-what."
Sora: "Okay. May I have Akari Hoshizaki raise his hand, please?" Akari raises his hand. "Thank you very much. As you all know the Hoshizaki Clan was believed to have gone extinct around 500 years ago. But according to records I've thoroughly analyzed, the last known Hoshizaki was Karito Hoshizaki."
"Here's what the report states: The Superiors were looking to expand their territory, outside their current territory. Suddenly—they sense large amounts of Roku somewhere around the village. It was Karito. One of the Superiors, Ashi, finds him and charges with his sword. Karito narrowly dodges and lunges up—his fists covered with some sort of aura. He punches both Superiors. They shrink to the size of atoms—but due to Karito's old age, he loses control, the Superiors return to normal size, they cough up blood but regain their strength. Now see—that shrinking thing… isn't it similar to the case with Akari? When his house imploded? Ashi then swings again and cuts Karito in half. Brutal…"
Akari: "Hmm, interesting. So you're saying the Hoshizaki's powers are… shrinking stuff? But what makes the Hoshizaki Clan so special?"
Sora: "Ah, about that—the Hoshizaki Clan actually helped found the Ryoshi Kingdom. Akira Hoshizaki was the one who chose the two Kings of the kingdom. Isn't that crazy?"
Akari: "Ohhh! Alright."
Soldier: "Sir Sora, here's the report from earlier." Sora: "Alright, thanks. It says here… Kade told Santu not to use his powers. Mhm—Kade, why is that?"
Kade: "So, basically. Santu has the ability to compress air. One of the attacks he was about to use is called the 'Santu Burst' where he compresses air so much that, when released, it creates a massive shockwave. It could've destroyed the city.
Lysandra: "How do you know the effects of such a power?"
Santu: "Because I have used a fraction of it at school, and I calculated its potential from there."
