Synopsis
Wes Walker is your average goofy, anime-loving, handheld-gaming high schooler—until a truck changes everything. While zoning out in class and playing a shooting game (as usual), Wes annoys his tsundere childhood best friend, Scarlett Hayes, who pretends to hate him... but has secretly been in love with him for years. After school, fate strikes—literally—as they’re hit by a speeding truck and killed on the spot. Wes and Scarlett awaken in a glowing celestial realm, greeted by the breathtaking goddess Lady Seraphina Lumeria. She offers them a second chance at life—in a world of swords, monsters, and magic. There, they may each choose a class to begin their new lives. Wes, with a grin, finds his dream class: Magic Gunslinger—a legendary, unheard-of class that lets him wield a sentient, sealed revolver named Reveria, imbued with the power of all elemental affinities. Scarlett, ever the fierce protector, chooses the path of the swordswoman. Sent to a vibrant new world, their adventure begins in a mystical forest. On their first day, they heroically rescue a princess and her knights from a deadly ambush—marking the start of a wild journey filled with action, magic, romance, and laughs. Together, Wes and Scarlett join the adventurer’s guild, explore ancient dungeons, fight monsters, and slowly gather allies from every corner of the world—commoners, nobles, princesses, demon queens, goddesses, and more. Wes’s growing harem reflects his chaotic charm and the respect (and trouble) he earns from all walks of life. But beneath his goofy, charming, otaku surface lies something else—on the battlefield, Wes becomes the cold, cunning Bullet Reaper: a relentless antihero who doesn’t fight for glory, justice, or gods—only for the thrill of battle and his own code. As his legend spreads, so does his infamy. From ancient dragons to corrupt kingdoms, from cults to political marriages, Wes charges headlong into chaos with a laugh and a loaded revolver. He may not be a hero... but he’ll become a legend. If you’d like, I can also help write a light novel-style first chapter, a cha

Chapter 1 - The Goddess and the Second Chance

Somewhere on a world called Earth, nestled in a rather ordinary city, there stood an ordinary-looking school. Inside, in the middle of an ordinary class, something not so ordinary was happening.

Wes Walker, a seventeen-year-old with raven-black hair and playful Amber-brown eyes, sat slouched in his desk near the window, completely immersed in the glowing screen of his handheld game console. His fingers moved rapidly across the buttons as digital bullets flew across the screen.

"Come on, reload, reload! Headshot! Boom! Another one bites the dust!" Wes muttered, intensely focused.

He leaned closer to the screen. "Grenade! Yes! Multi-kill, baby! Bring it on, zombie overlords!"

Beeping sounds filled the room. The screen flashed as Wes launched a pixelated rocket. "Boom! Gotcha! Man, I'm unstoppable today!"

Around him, several students exchanged glances.

"Seriously? He's doing this again?" one girl whispered.

"Every. Single. Day," a guy replied, shaking his head.

"He's like... addicted. Doesn't he ever stop playing those games?"

"I think his brain runs on pixels."

"It's annoying! I can't even concentrate with all that beeping."

"Honestly, it's kinda funny," someone else chuckled. "He's basically in his own anime."

"Yeah, the anime of 'Wes the Idiot Gamer.'"

The teacher, Mr. Harland, had had enough. His voice roared, slicing through the air like thunder.

"Mr. Walker! Would you kindly put down that device and join the rest of us in reality?!"

Wes, unfazed, still staring at the screen, responded, "Five more minutes. Just let me finish this stage. Boss is almost down."

Mr. Harland's eye twitched. He clenched the chalk in his hand until it snapped.

Laughter erupted.

"He's got guts, I'll give him that."

"Or zero survival instinct."

Two rows behind Wes, Scarlett Hayes crossed her arms, visibly annoyed. Her long crimson hair, tied in a high ponytail with a black ribbon, shimmered under the fluorescent lights. She muttered to herself, "Idiot."

Just as Mr. Harland was about to blow a fuse, the final bell rang.

"Alright, class dismissed! Go home!" he barked, already massaging his temples.

Students packed their bags, stood up, and chatted among themselves.

"Movie night tonight!"

"I'm grinding in that new RPG."

"Dude, did you see that glitch video?"

Wes was still in his seat, completely oblivious.

"Yes! Final boss defeated! Victory is mine! Hahaha! You pixelated freaks never stood a chance!"

Then came the voice.

"YOU IDIOT!!!"

Before Wes could turn around—WHACK!

"OUCH! What the hell?!" He clutched his head and spun around to see Scarlett glaring at him.

"Idiot!" she shouted, and smacked him again.

"OW! What was that for?!"

"Stop ignoring class and acting like a fool every day! Seriously, what is wrong with you?!"

"But—but games are my passion! My escape! My way of life!"

Scarlett's eyes burned with a fiery intensity. "You're seriously comparing that zombie game to real life?!"

Wes shrank under her aura. "O-Okay, but you're really beautiful when you're mad, so maybe don't hit me again...?"

Scarlett blushed slightly but raised her fist again. "Don't EMBARRASS me!"

WHACK! Another blow.

"Ow ow ow! You're a monster!"

"What did you just call me?"

"I said you're a majestic queen with the strength of ten warriors!"

Scarlett sighed, grabbing her bag. "Let's just go home, idiot."

"Aye aye, Red Blaze."

"Stop calling me that."

"But it suits you!"

They walked down the sunlit streets, dodging bicyclists and chatting casually.

"So," Scarlett said, adjusting her bag, "what exactly are you going to do when you get home?"

"Finish clearing the DLC dungeon, obviously. Then maybe rewatch that one anime where the guy dies but wakes up in another world with overpowered powers. You know, goals."

"Your goals are so lame. Ever think about college? Or doing something... real?"

"My games are real to me. Besides, you're just jealous I beat you in Smash Bros last week."

"Only because you picked that cheap character with the broken counter!"

"A win's a win, Red Blaze."

"I swear if you call me that again—"

"Okay okay! But deep down, you kinda like it, right?"

She turned away, hiding a faint blush. "Tch. Idiot."

As they laughed and teased each other, they stepped into the street without noticing the roar of an engine fast approaching.

A speeding truck swerved toward them.

Wes's thoughts slowed. If this is it... maybe I'll wake up in another world. Maybe... I'll see her there, too...

The sound of screeching tires filled his ears—

Darkness.

Then... stars.

Wes blinked. A sky stretched above him—twinkling with stars unlike any he'd seen.

"Ugh... am I... dead?" he groaned.

A groan beside him. "Wes...?"

He looked over. Scarlett lay next to him on the grass. Her crimson hair shimmered under the alien starlight.

"Scarlett! You're okay! Wait—are we okay?! Where... the hell are we?!"

Scarlett sat up slowly, rubbing her temple. "This isn't the city... or Earth. What the hell happened...?"

Wes looked around. Rolling hills stretched into the horizon. The grass glowed faintly blue. Floating orbs hovered in the air. A silver moon hung huge in the sky.

"Okay, I'm either dreaming... or I actually got isekai'd."

"You what?"

"You know, like in those shows—truck, death, boom! New fantasy world! This is like the golden ticket!"

Scarlett frowned. "So we died and your first thought is how cool it is?!"

"I mean... look at this place! It's gorgeous! No math, no homework!"

"You're hopeless."

"You're still here, so I guess this is heaven."

She blushed again. "Don't flirt with me after we maybe died. Idiot."

Then, a melodic voice drifted through the air.

"You two have awakened."

They both turned toward the voice.

A radiant woman sat on a crystalline throne, her eyes glowing like moons.

Wes blinked. "Who… who are you?"

Wes and Scarlett stood in stunned silence. Before them sat a woman of ethereal beauty—so otherworldly that their minds struggled to comprehend her presence.

She had long, flowing silver-white hair that shimmered like moonlight. Her eyes were like radiant galaxies—swirling gold and violet, glowing softly like distant nebulae. A floating halo of shifting light circled gently behind her head. Her pristine white and gold gown flowed as though made of celestial silk, shimmering with each subtle movement.

She smiled, a graceful and mysterious expression upon her perfect face.

Then she giggled, her voice like wind chimes in the breeze. "Me? I am Lady Seraphina Lumeria, the Goddess of Light and Rebirth."

Wes and Scarlett froze.

"G-Goddess?" Scarlett whispered, eyes wide.

"L-Lady?! Did she say goddess?!" Wes stammered.

Their minds raced. The air seemed to thin around them.

They looked at each other, both speechless.

"We're actually talking to a goddess..." Wes muttered.

"This can't be real. We really did die... didn't we?" Scarlett said, her voice soft with disbelief.

They turned back toward the glowing woman.

Wes suddenly dropped to his knees dramatically. "This really is an anime! Isekai life, here I come!" he shouted.

Scarlett, still processing, stuttered, "W-Why are we here?"

Wes added, "Y-Yeah! Did we... do something wrong, Lady Goddess? Was it because Scarlett is a violent monster?!"

SMACK!

Scarlett's fist came down hard on Wes's head.

"SHUT THE HELL UP!!!"

"AAAAH!" Wes rolled on the ground in agony. "How do I deserve this?! My head! You could've cracked my skull!"

"Keep running your mouth and I'll aim harder next time!"

"Seriously, what is wrong with you?! You just hit me in front of a literal goddess!"

"Yeah? And you called me a monster in front of her! Are you trying to die again?!"

"It was a joke! A joke, Scar! You ever heard of humor?!"

"Yeah, and you ever heard of not being an idiot every two seconds?!"

"I'm not an idiot! I'm just... creatively misunderstood!"

"You're creatively going to get punched again!"

"This is emotional damage! I should report this to the divine authorities!"

"Please, the divine authorities would probably hand me a medal for dealing with you every day!"

"I can't believe I died and still ended up getting head trauma. This isn't reincarnation, it's reincar-suffering!"

"You should've paid attention in class instead of playing video games, maybe then you'd have some sense!"

"And maybe you should take a chill pill instead of acting like an angry tsundere 24/7!"

"Oh my GODS, you did not just call me that!"

"Well, if the shoe fits, Red Blaze—"

Scarlett lunged toward him, grabbing his collar. "Say that one more time and your soul's getting a second death experience!"

As they bickered, Seraphina giggled again, resting her cheek on her hand as she watched the chaos unfold.

How amusing... These two have a fire in them. Such a rare energy.

Scarlett suddenly put Wes in a headlock.

"Okay okay! I'm sorry! I was wrong! You're an elegant, non-violent lady! Just let go of my neck!"

Scarlett let go, muttering, "Idiot."

Wes coughed, fixing his collar. "Where were we again?"

A polite cough came from the throne.

"Are you two done?" Seraphina asked, her expression gentle and amused.

Wes and Scarlett both turned pale and snapped back to attention.

"R-Right! The goddess thing!"

They immediately bowed.

"We're so sorry for being disrespectful! Please don't smite us!"

"We mean no offense, Lady Seraphina! Please don't turn us into frogs or something!"

Seraphina giggled once more. "I won't hurt you. I brought you here myself."

Scarlett blinked. "You... brought us here? Why?"

Wes added, "Yeah. We're just some random high schoolers. We're not... special."

Seraphina's golden-violet eyes glowed brighter. "You are more special than you think. I have given you a second chance at life."

Wes gasped. "So it is an isekai situation... A second chance in another world...?!"

Scarlett looked serious. "Why us? What kind of world are you sending us to? What power do you see in us?"

Seraphina stood slowly, her gown fluttering like light itself. "The world is called Elarion. A realm of magic, swordsmanship, and monsters. A world in turmoil... and rebirth. As for your power... even I, a goddess, cannot fully see it."

Wes blinked. "Wait—you mean we have unknown powers?! This is even more anime than I thought!"

"How do we get our skills or abilities?" Scarlett asked, more cautiously.

Seraphina smiled. "Let me show you."

With a snap of her fingers, a massive violet screen materialized in the air before them, shining with magical light.

"Whoa! What is this?!" Wes exclaimed, stepping back slightly as the glowing screen hovered in front of them, its violet light pulsing gently in the air.

Seraphina smiled, her radiant halo glowing subtly. "These," she said, gesturing with a graceful wave of her hand, "are the Classes. Each one represents a path you may take. Choose wisely, and it may shape not only your power—but your destiny."

Wes and Scarlett exchanged glances before turning their attention to the list floating before them.

Classes filled the screen in bright gold lettering:

Knight. Mage. Archer. Swordsman. Assassin. Elementalist. Guardian. Shadow Dancer. Beast Tamer. Spellbreaker. Warlock. Mystic Blade. Paladin. Gunslinger. Arcane Monk. Reaper...

Scarlett's emerald eyes scanned the list with growing focus. Then she stopped.

"Swordswoman," she said aloud.

Wes looked over at her. "You already found one? That fast?"

Scarlett nodded, eyes still on the name. "It feels right. Strong, disciplined, direct. It fits me."

"You're serious about it," Wes said, surprised. "You're always good at this kinda thing."

Scarlett nodded confidently. "A sword suits me. I can protect, I can fight, and I don't have to rely on magic. Discipline, technique... that's what I want."

Wes grinned. "Yeah, I can totally see you swinging a giant blade around yelling battle cries. It's... actually kind of awesome."

Scarlett smirked. "And what about you, idiot? Still scrolling like it's a gacha menu?"

"Hey," Wes muttered, eyes darting back to the screen. "Choosing a class is serious business. It's like crafting your main in an MMO. Can't rush perfection."

He kept skimming.

Knight... too bulky. Mage... too classic. Assassin... cool but too edgy. Wait—

His eyes locked on a glowing name: Magic Gunslinger

A grin crept across his face.

Scarlett caught the expression. "You're grinning like an idiot again. What did you find?"

Wes's brown eyes sparkled. "Something that matches me perfectly."

"Spit it out already."

Chapter Four: The Gifts of Divinity

Wes reached out and touched the glowing icon on the screen.

"Magic Gunslinger," he said confidently. The light pulsed, and a soft chime echoed across the chamber.

The energy from the screen surged through him, warm and radiant. Runes spun around his arms as the system confirmed his new class.

Wes grinned. "This is perfect. Stylish, powerful, and magical? It's like the ultimate upgrade from my video game character."

Scarlett crossed her arms, smirking. "Of course you'd pick something flashy. It's literally your video game fantasy come to life."

Wes chuckled. "And you're a walking anime swordswoman. We're just living the dream."

Seraphina giggled, her silver eyes glowing. "I knew you two would choose those exact classes. It was written in your potential long before you arrived."

Both Wes and Scarlett blinked.

"Wait... you knew?" Scarlett asked.

"How?" Wes added. "We didn't even know!"

Seraphina smiled knowingly. "Your hearts knew. I simply saw what lay dormant inside them. And now... I have gifts for the both of you."

Wes and Scarlett's eyes widened.

"Gifts?! From a goddess?!" Wes gasped.

"What kind of gifts?" Scarlett asked, excitement creeping into her voice.

Seraphina raised a hand and snapped her fingers. Two bright lights flared into existence before them.

In front of Scarlett, a magnificent longsword materialized from pure radiance.

The blade was sleek and double-edged, forged of crimson-tinted silver. The guard was shaped like twin wings—one feathered, one made of flame. Subtle engravings of Seraphina's sigil danced along the flat of the blade. The grip was wrapped in red dragon-hide leather.

Scarlett took a step forward, eyes wide. "This... this is incredible."

"That sword," Seraphina said gently, "was forged from Embersteel, a mythical ore that only forms in the presence of a warrior's unspoken resolve."

Scarlett and Wes looked at each other, then at the sword.

"That's seriously metal," Wes whispered. "No pun intended."

"It feels... like it's mine," Scarlett said softly. "Like it was waiting for me."

Seraphina then turned to Wes. "And for the Magic Gunslinger..."

The light in front of him burst into shape, forming a stunning six-shot revolver.

It was sleek, silver-and-midnight black, with a longer barrel engraved in arcane markings shaped like dragon wings and elemental sigils. Its frame glowed faintly with celestial runes, and the grip was smooth obsidian wrapped in fire-dyed leather. A gem-like core pulsed in the center of the cylinder, currently glowing a muted blue.

Wes stepped closer, entranced. "Whoa..."

Seraphina's voice grew solemn. "This is Reveria. The first and only of her kind. She was not forged by hands... but by divinity and desire. She is your partner, your weapon, your will made manifest. Speak to her. Respect her. And she will answer with power the world has never seen."

Scarlett's mouth fell open. "Wait... it has a name?!"

Wes blinked. "A sentient weapon?! That's... seriously cool. But also terrifying."

Seraphina smiled wider. "But there is one thing about Reveria."

Wes raised a brow. "Yeah? What is it?"

Her smile turned mysterious. "That weapon you see floating before you... is not just a tool, Wes Walker. Her name is Reveria... and once, she was a goddess."

The air grew still.

"A... goddess?!" Wes and Scarlett both gasped.

Seraphina nodded. "Long before kings ruled or demons roamed, there existed a goddess of judgment and balance. Reveria, Lady of the Final Word. Neither cruel nor kind, but exact. She ended chaos with a single pull of her divine trigger."

Wes stared at the revolver in awe. This... this was a living being? A goddess of judgment?

Seraphina's expression turned somber. "The other gods feared her—feared the purity and finality of her justice. So they sealed her not in chains... but in form. Bound her soul into the weapon you now hold."

Scarlett looked stunned. "They sealed a goddess inside a gun... because they feared her justice?"

Wes gulped. "And now I'm holding her..."

"She has watched the rise and fall of worlds from within that chamber of steel. And now, she stirs—not because you chose her... but because she chose you."

Wes stepped back slightly, nervous. "Wait, so if I mess up—"

Seraphina's voice turned grave. "Then she will fire... without you."

Wes stared at Reveria. A forgotten goddess. A gun with a soul. Judgment itself...

Seraphina smiled softly again. "But not all is grim. You, Wes, also possess elemental potential. Fire, frost, lightning—your bullets will carry the elements, shaped by will."

Wes slowly smiled. "Magic elemental gunslinger... That's beyond cool. That's legendary."

Scarlett smirked. "Let's just hope you don't shoot yourself in the foot."

Both weapons slowly glowed again, turning to light and drifting into their chests.

Wes and Scarlett gasped as the energy merged with them.

"Whoa!" Wes shouted. "That felt weird... but kinda awesome."

"I can still feel it," Scarlett murmured. "Like it's part of me."

"Your weapons are connected to your hearts now," Seraphina said warmly. "They are not tools. They are pieces of who you are."

"Sweet," Wes grinned.

Scarlett looked to Seraphina. "So what now?"

Seraphina's halo pulsed. "Now, you begin your second life. You will awaken in Elaria—together."

Wes and Scarlett nodded.

"Are you ready?" Seraphina asked.

Scarlett took a deep breath. "I'm ready."

Wes cracked his neck and stretched. "Born ready. Let's go start this new game."

Seraphina's eyes twinkled. "Good. I'm glad. I hope to see you again someday."

Wes and Scarlett smiled. "Thank you, Lady Seraphina. We hope so too."

"Good luck, my Wes and Scarlett."

She snapped her fingers.

In a burst of light, the two teens vanished.

A moment later, they reappeared in a lush forest, surrounded by towering trees, glittering streams, and glowing flowers.

Wes looked around, wide-eyed. "Whoa... This place is amazing."

Scarlett nodded. "It's beautiful... and real."

She turned to him, smirking. "Ready, Gunslinger?"

Wes took a deep breath, grinned, and looked to the sky. "More than ever. Time to start this adventure."

To be continued...
