"Let's do a sleepover!"
That was my idea.
And somehow, everyone agreed.
So that night, Zhou Rui, Junxi, and Shan Jiasheng showed up at my house with pillows, snacks, and chaos.
8:00 PM – Snacks, Manga & Nonsense
Zhou Rui brought her One Piece manga collection. Junxi was eating chips like he hadn't eaten for days. Jiasheng? He brought nothing but stole everyone's snacks.
And me? I brought my phone camera — ready to record every weird thing.
9:30 PM – Game Time
We played truth or dare.
"Truth: Who do you like in class?" I asked Zhou Rui.
She blushed and glared at me. "Pass."
"No passing!" I shouted.
But before she could say anything, Junxi suddenly coughed. A little too loudly.
Suspicious.
Then it was Jiasheng's turn.
"Dare," he said bravely.
"I dare you to act like a chicken and run outside!"
And he did it. Proudly. Without hesitation.
Neighbors stared. My mom sighed. But she's used to our chaos by now.
11:00 PM – Sleep (or at least we tried)
Zhou Rui quietly read manga under her blanket. Junxi SNOREDDDDD like a tractor. Jiasheng secretly munched on the cookies I hid under my bed. I caught him and took a photo for evidence.
"Delete that," he warned.
"Nope."
We ended up laughing under the blanket for hours, whispering silly things like:
"What if aliens land tomorrow and make us eat broccoli forever?"
"Then Tianxin would cry," Jiasheng joked.
"I already want to," I mumbled.
2:00 AM – Deep Talk Time
Suddenly, the mood turned soft.
Junxi sat up. "I like nights like this."
Zhou Rui nodded. "Me too."
And Jiasheng?
He looked at me and softly said, "You're the loudest person I know."
"Thanks?" I said, confused.
"But also the one I'd always want around."
And that made me... quiet for a moment.
Just a moment.
6:00 AM – Photo Time
Junxi brought out his camera.
We sat in my backyard in pajamas, messy hair, and sleepy eyes — and he clicked a picture.
A photo that would one day remind us...
Of a night that felt like home.
