Mira began to feel something was off.
She sometimes felt watched as she walks out of her house or at work.
She dismissed it at first and thought she was only being paranoid.
But then, one evening, as she got home from work, she found a note on her bathroom mirror saying,
"I missed you today. Work kept you so busy."
Has she told Daniel she had a few meetings?
She had not.
She had not texted him or seen him at all.
The next night, Daniel came over.
They were in her living room, watching some old films that Daniel had brought with him before he came over.
Mira remembered the note Daniel had written on her bathroom mirror yesterday night.
She was certain it was from him base on the handwriting.
She decided to ask him.
"Did you come over yesterday while I was still at work?", she asked.
Daniel looked over to her, smiled, then said, "You're so beautiful when you're focused at work."
That made her pause.
How did he knew how she looked when she was at work?
However, she brushed it off and watched the film.
Maybe he'd been nearby and saw her through a cafè window or maybe he was just being a smooth talker.
But soon, it became clear that Daniel knew things he possibly could not have known unless he was there.
When she came home upset after fighting with her boss—without telling anyone—she found a hand written note waiting on her pillow.
"He doesn't deserve your loyalty."

When she mentioned she'd been craving strawberry cake from her favorite bakery, it appeared at her door the next day—from a her favorite bakery she had not told him about.
It was all too much of a coincidence.
One night, on their date, she was too curious of all of it that she had enough and asked him.
"Daniel...how do you always know?", she asked without specifying anything as she knew he already knows what she had meant.
He looked at her with calm eyes and said,
"Because I love you more than anyone else ever will. I notice everything. Even things you hide."
Her heart fluttered but her stomach turned.
