Chapter 13 - bvgr

Before Ron could even get shocked, Molly grabbed his ears and gave him a lecture. That aura and attitude was much more oppressive than a shouting letter.

Fortunately, the couple also took into account their son's face in front of his good friends, and gave Harry and Hermione Christmas gifts very enthusiastically, and then got together for a meal - this touched Harry very much, this was the first time he felt the warmth of home.

Professors Snape and Sprout spent the whole day making potions, while Professor McGonagall checked the armor and statues all over the castle. Edward and Audrey cooperated with them throughout the whole process, going wherever they were needed, and they didn't go to bed until the early morning.

Edward took some time to go to the village of Ottery St. Catchpole and secretly met with little Luna, confirming that the Scimitar-Horned Snorkeller she saw was the "messenger" that Audrey saw in Longbottom's spiritual world.

December 18th.

The three little ones found Edward and Audrey and asked them to find a way to confirm whether the Philosopher's Stone was still safe.

Edward thought that he had never seen the magic stone that could make people immortal. Thinking back to when he first traveled to the Harry Potter world, the Philosopher's Stone was one of his biggest goals.

So he and Audrey took the opportunity when Dumbledore came back and asked to go take a look. As Edward had never participated in the arrangement of the Philosopher's Stone, both the previous mechanisms and the final method of obtaining it were the same as in the original book.

——The purpose is to lure Voldemort and train Harry at the same time.

Edward was no longer interested in the Philosopher's Stone. On the one hand, its so-called immortality was really just to keep people alive. Although Nicomel lived for more than 600 years, it sounded impressive, but his condition was really fragile. On the other hand, the energy in the Philosopher's Stone had been almost consumed, and it could no longer play a big role.

But Lilith was quite interested in it and tried to taste the Philosopher's Stone several times. Fortunately, the stone was hard enough, otherwise she would have bitten a hole in it.

Edward was very curious about the golden Mirror of Erised.

But when he walked to the mirror, he found it empty. He could not see his reflection, nor could he see any of his "most intense desires.?x¨x*ia,n?g*s+h¢u`..c+o?m\"

Dumbledore also said he was not sure about this. He knew very little about this mirror. He only knew that it was placed in the Room of Requirement a long time ago.

Audrey obviously saw the "strongest desire" in the mirror, and a bright smile appeared on her face. But when Edward asked her what she saw, she refused to say anything.

Lilith saw in the mirror that Edward was happily eating rat with her, while Audrey and Susie were grilling rat steaks for them.

Susie saw herself accompanying Audrey.

Before leaving, Dumbledore stayed in front of the Mirror of Erised for half a minute, and finally let out a long sigh.

December 19th.

During breakfast, the four deans suddenly announced that everyone had to stay in the dormitory and the common room for the next three days and were not allowed to go out.

This sudden order made everyone feel a strong pressure. After finishing breakfast, they returned to their respective public rooms one by one.

Throughout the day, except for the occasional sound of an owl flapping its wings, Hogwarts Castle was silent, a bit like the calm before a storm.

In the afternoon, Edward received a message from Lucius that Barty Jr. had given them an order to launch an attack on Hogwarts tomorrow - the 20th!

After Edward confirmed the news was true, he shared it with others immediately.

In the evening, Lilith, who had been wandering around the empty Hogwarts all day, suddenly came and asked Edward to help her make a traceless stretching spell prop that she could carry with her.

Because she also had some things to bring back this time.

Edward then made her a small pendant to hang around her neck. The space of more than ten square meters was enough for her to use.

Lilith was very happy at the time and showed off to Susie immediately, so Audrey made one for Susie as well.

Edward originally thought that Lilith was going to use it to hide some treasure, until he saw her quietly put some mice in it, he rubbed his forehead in shock - since she returned to Hogwarts, she seldom mentioned mice, and he thought she had changed her personality, but she ended up doing something big in secret!

I really don't know where she caught mice in this winter.

Dumbledore did not return to Hogwarts that day.

December 25th, Christmas.

Edward woke up early in the morning and felt the festive atmosphere. The common room, the corridor outside, and the auditorium restaurant were all decorated in colorful colors.

The children who had been locked up for a few days regained their freedom and ran around everywhere excitedly. Even the ghosts and magic paintings in the castle were affected and began to enjoy the excitement and joy of the festival.

But Edward, who saw all this, felt as if he had fallen into an icy cave, and felt cold all over:

How come today is the 25th?

Chapter 247 Another Time Shift

Today...how could it be the 25th?

His last memory was clearly on the 19th, and he clearly remembered that he had done another divination before going to bed.

But when I woke up...it was already the 25th?

So where did the five days from the 20th to the 24th go?

Did I lose my memory, or did I travel to 5 days later?

"Woooooa ...

At this moment, a dark shadow rushed into Edward's arms and made a strange sound. He was startled and stepped back repeatedly.

"Hahaha, Miss Lilith succeeded again!"

Lilith turned back triumphantly and looked at Audrey and Susie who were approaching.

Audrey keenly noticed that something was wrong with Edward's expression, and hurried forward to ask, "What's wrong, Edward?"

Edward asked solemnly, "What day is it today?"

"December 25th, Christmas."

She was puzzled.

"Have you...seen me the other day?"

"Of course, we are together every day. We also went to France and spent Christmas Eve at Sirius's house." She reached out and touched Edward's forehead. "Are you confused in your sleep?"

Edward took a deep breath, "But my memory is still stuck on number 19."

"What?"

"I only remember that it was still the 19th when I went to bed last night, and when I woke up it was the 25th, but I have no memory of the five days from the 20th to the 24th."

"How is that possible? We have been..."

At this point, Audrey's pupils trembled, "Could it be that the person who was with me these days... wasn't you? Then where did you go?"

"I don't know. My mind is full of questions now. I don't know what happened."

Lily said without hesitation: "Ms. Lilith can be sure, that is Edward!"

Susie opened her mouth, but hesitated to speak.

Edward thought for a moment and asked, "Did the Death Eaters and goblins attack Hogwarts on December 20th?"

"Yes! Not only them, but also Dementors and some giants. Fortunately, Professor Dumbledore was well prepared and defeated them quickly. You even killed little Barty with your own hands."

"I killed little Barty?" He frowned and asked again, "What about Voldemort? Did he show up?"

Audrey nodded. "Yes, Voldemort sneaked into the room where the Philosopher's Stone was hidden by some means. You discovered him in time when he was trying to steal the Philosopher's Stone, but unfortunately he escaped."

"I discovered Voldemort, and yet he escaped?"

It's not that Edward is arrogant, he just can't figure out how Voldemort can escape after being discovered by him.

"Then what?"

"Then the matter came to an end. Although Professor Dumbledore missed the ministerial election meeting that day, he submitted evidence of Fudge's collusion with the Death Eaters the next day and had him brought to trial. After consultation between the Ministry of Magic and the Wizengamot, the ministerial election will be held again in the first week after the Christmas holidays."

"I see."

Edward thought for a moment and said, "Let's go. I'm going to go find Professor Dumbledore."

Audrey grabbed his fingers worriedly, "Don't worry, Edward. Everything will be fine."

Lilith also said crisply: "It must be okay, Edward."

"...Um."

...

8th floor, principal's office.

As soon as Dumbledore saw the two of them, he happily took out the wrapped gift, "Oh, Merry Christmas~ This is the gift I carefully selected for you, I hope you like it... What's wrong with you?"

"Professor, something bad may have happened to me."

Edward got straight to the point, "I lost my memory after the 19th."

Dumbledore immediately put down the gift and leaned closer, holding his glasses: "Oh, this..."

"I clearly remember that it was still the 19th when I went to bed last night, but today is already Christmas. I don't remember anything about the past few days. It feels like I jumped from the 19th to the 25th all of a sudden."

"Could it be... someone used a forgetfulness spell on you?"

Edward shook his head. "The divination results tell me that it is not the Forgetfulness Spell."

"That's strange."

Dumbledore crossed his fingers and placed them on the table. "Have you ever tried dream divination?"

"I'll try."

Edward took out various things and quickly set up the ceremony: "Everything I experienced between December 20th and December 24th."

After reciting the divination sentence, Edward closed his eyes and entered a dream.

All he saw was a black mirror, with two black doors faintly visible inside. Apart from that, he could see nothing and hear nothing. He waited patiently for a long time, but the picture did not change at all.

For a moment, I was not sure whether the divination had failed.

Edward had no choice but to break away from the dream and open his eyes.

"What's going on Edward?"

Audrey squatted beside Edward's legs and asked with concern.

"All I saw were two black doors and nothing else."

"Then I'll try to use my mind reading skills to communicate directly with your mental body?"

"Alright."

A few minutes later, Audrey's mind reading also failed - Edward's mental body also remembered nothing.

Edward thought for a moment and looked at Dumbledore: "Professor, do you think Legilimency will work?"

Dumbledore shook his head. "I don't think so. Legilimency sees the other person's memory, but you don't have this memory yourself, how can I see it?"
