"A grade three Cursed Spirit disappeared?" Sitting on a bench surrounded by peaceful trees and lush green scenery, a white-haired man with a white blindfold covering his eyes sat with his legs crossed.
Sitting beside him was an eyes-closed dark-haired teen bearing a serious expression.
"Fascinating. Well, there are a few cases of Cursed Spirits disappearing all of a sudden, so this is pretty normal." The white-haired man shrugged his shoulders in a relaxed manner, a contrast to the teen sitting beside him.
"This isn't normal. When I arrived at where the cursed spirit was last seen, I could feel the remnants of cursed energy along with a few holes and chips around the alley as if a battle had broken out. I also found two unconscious thugs there who can't remember how they got there." The teenager retorted as if doing so would give him justice for being unable to complete his mission.
"Mah~Mah~ just take a breather, Fushiguro-kun. It's not like it's something big, how about this, you can go ahead and investigate it, I'll give you the green light for it!" The white-haired man addressed the teenager with a huge thumbs up and a white toothy grin on his face.
With a nod of his head, Fushiguro stood and left, leaving the white-haired man humming to himself.
'Are those guys making their move again? How troublesome.' He muttered under his breath before sighing in defeat, recalling the memories with those bunch of so-called owners of the Tokyo Territory.
***
The great Evil Slayer, the savior and hero of the world of Fantazio, now sitting behind a table while facing his parents.
His sister, on the other hand, was too embarrassed to show up and once again, locked herself up in her room.
"Ken, explain." His father, Kuroki Kiko, still wearing his business suit, looked as if he was extremely tired of his life, with wrinkles all over his face and eyebags similar to my sister's, except the reason behind his is because of working overtime.
"It's a long story but I'll make it short." I inhaled and proceeded to tell them the story of the original Kenshin, how he gambled all of his winnings away while cutting ties with his family, thinking they would be a burden to him.
"…I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let myself become obsessed with money, I could've shared it with this family instead of being selfish. I was an idiot." Out of respect, I slightly bowed my head towards them, taking the blame that should've been the original Kenshin's.
"Money isn't the problem, Ken. You could've kept it all and we wouldn't care. The only reason we're mad at you is because we lost contact with you, you could've told us you're fine and we would've been rest assured." His mom, Kuroki Tomo, sighed while resting her head on her palm and said.
"I understand." Obviously, I'm left with no choice but to agree with them, not only because I'm supposed to be at fault here since the original is gone but also because this is the least I can do for taking over their son's life.
"Then let's talk about you."
"Hm?"
"You don't look like the son we last saw a few months ago. If you didn't show us your ID and your mom's least favorite food, we would've thought you impersonated Kuroki Kenshin." Finally, his father addressed the elephant in the room.
Thankfully, I prepared myself for this question.
"Well, I'm also not sure myself but I think it's either puberty hits me extremely hard like a truck or I have inherited either of you two's genetics." I shrugged my shoulders and said.
"Good, you inherited my genetics." Kiko nodded his head with closed eyes and crossed arms as if his words were a fact.
"Huh? Your genetics? Our son inherited mine! Look at his eyes! Those are my eyes!"
"Mah~ it seems you're mistaken, my love. I'm his father and he's a boy, so obviously, my genes won this time. You can just proudly take Tomoko's."
"Why you! If there's something he inherits from you, that will be your micro-dick!"
"Not in front of our son!"
Watching the two chase each other around the house, I coughed my throat and silently said, not wanting to bring attention to myself.
"I-I'll go to my room now."
Thankfully, they're too busy having their 'lover's quarrel' to notice my absence in the dining room.
Arriving at my room, I wasted no time and jumped on the bed, lying down with an inflated body.
"Ahh~ finally." I subconsciously muttered to myself while slowly drifting to sleep.
It's been a hectic day and I believe I deserve this rest.

While her brother, Ken sleeps in the next room, Tomoko is once again holed up in her own, closed curtains and no signs of light except for her computer screen.
"Hehe~ Hehe~ My dreams have finally come true! It's time to use my social communication skills to make him fall for me!" Tomoko grinned to herself, staring at the computer screen where a photo of her 'new' brother was taken by her earlier while he was busy explaining in the dining room.
"Hehe~ he's so handsome. My Onii-chan is too handsome!" While muttering to herself like a crazed witch, Tomoko slowly slid her hand down to her lower body before closing her eyes out of pleasure.
"Onii-chan!~"

"I shouldn't have gotten off the train," Alisa muttered to herself with a pout. Oh, how she's now regretting not getting the boy's name.
"I wonder when will I get to meet him again." She silently pondered to herself before her eyes widened in surprise.
"Wait. Why am I even worried about it? I-I just wanted to learn magic from him, that's all! A-After all, who in this world wouldn't want to learn magic, right?"
Taking out her phone, Alisa opened the gallery app and there it was, a photo of Kenshin back in the dark alley.
Thankfully, Kenshin must've thought that she only took a video of him, not a photo, so he missed deleting this one.
Bam!
"Alya-chan! Onee-chan is coming in with your favorite black tea!" Suddenly, her sister, Maria, barged in without any remorse, holding a tray of two cups of tea.
"C-Can't you knock first!?" Alisa turned beet red as she panicky hid her phone underneath her pillow.
"Hehh~ but as your Onee-chan, I have the right to go in and out of your room as I please." As usual, her bubbly older sister laid the tray on the nearby table before jumping on the bed and pulling her into a hug.
"Could it be…my dear Imouto is hiding something from Onee-chan? Hehe~ let me guess, is it a boy~" Maria's face turned sly as she covered her mouth with an evil laugh.
As if on cue, Alisa turned even more red after she finished her words, confirming her suspicions.
"I knew it! So who is it? Is he someone that Big-sis knows? Handsome? Tall? Neh~ tell Onee-chan, quickly!" With a cunning smile, Maria kept poking on Alisa's cheeks, hoping to get an answer out of her.
However, the only answer she got was a pillow to her face instead along with an embarrassed Alisa who has completely lost her cool.
"I-I-It's not a boy! Definitely not! G-Get out of my room!"
Coincidentally, the pillow she threw at her was the same pillow where she hid her phone underneath, exposing her phone.
Maria's eyes hovered towards the screen where it shows a picture of a dark-haired boy standing alone in an alley with a serious expression.
Alisa stopped in her tracks and she slowly traced to where her sister was looking at and when she realized, her face turned into a complete tomato.
She grabbed her phone and turned it off before yelling very loudly.
"G-G-G-Get out of my room!"

I don't know how many hours have passed since I slept but when I woke up, the night sky outside the window was shining brightly.
"I feel energetic," I muttered under my breath while stretching widely.
'Right. I forgot the letter said I have inventory, right?' Drowned in curiosity, I mustered the same feeling similar to when I used to open my inventory back in the world of Fantazio using the old system.
Man, speaking of my old inventory, I used to have several overpowered armor and weapons back there, I kinda miss them already.
A panel screen appeared in front of me, showing several boxes that seemed endless.
Huh, this one seems similar to my previous one. That high-dude really tried to replicate the old system.
Hold on.
My eyes widened in surprise as I scan my eyes on the rows upon rows in the inventory, each box occupied by familiar items.

More and more weapons, armor, and artifacts were displayed on each box in the inventory.
However, seeing the requirements for each item quickly poured a cold bucket over my head.
'Yeah, right. Almost forgot about that.' I shook my head and slapped my forehead.
"Oh well, at least there are still some items that I can use for now," I muttered to myself while my eyes hovered around the lower section of the Inventory slots, where most of my old items were situated, gathering dust in the corner.
However, before I could further divulge my inventory, I heard the door creak open, and as quickly as I could, I secretly went back to sleep.
'Oh wait. Why am I even pretending to be asleep? I'm no longer a kid!' I almost facepalmed myself just by thinking about this.
However, just as I was about to announce that I was awake to whoever dared to disturb my peaceful Inventory scroll, I suddenly felt someone lift the blanket covering me.
Before I could react, I felt a soft and heavy feeling on my chest, followed by the sounds of sniffing and sly chuckles.
"Hehe~ Step 1, sneak in his bedroom while asleep, success! Now when he finds me sleeping with him tomorrow, Onii-chan will be lovestruck for me!" My eyebrows furrowed when I heard the familiar voice from underneath the covers.
"It will definitely work! My social communication skills that I spent almost 50 years in training is refined to the point that no one would be able to resist my charm!"
Yep, no doubt about it. This is my little sister sniffing and hugging my body.
My only question right now is when did my Imouto become obsessed with me!?
Oi, Tomoko, aren't we siblings!?
