Back in the principal's office.
"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS! THAT MAN ASSAULTED ME, AND YOU ALLOW HIM TO WALK AWAY WITH JUST A WARNING!!" Vice principal Shao was complaining to the principal who had just returned from who knows where.
"You agreed to the duel yourself! You even implicated all of 2A in this matter! And that was after you intruded upon the facility he had already reserved in advance without a warning!" The principal retorted.
"I AM STILL THE VICE PRINCIPAL!!"
"Are you?"
"WHAT?!"
"Mr. Shao, do you know why I hired vice principal Kyle?"

"It was because you were damaging the school's reputation."
"What?"
"You might not have been aware of this, but during your first couple of years as vice principal, a rumor was spreading around the Ryu empire."
"What kind of rumor?"
"That the Shiro academy was an aristocratic school for troublemakers."
"WHAT!!!"
"I heard through my connections that because of the new rules and grading system you yourself established, many of the talented potential students from wealthy backgrounds flowed into the rivaling schools in the surrounding area."
"Why would they? The high born and talented youths would all benefit from that system."
"They might, but it also made them arrogant."

"Mr. Shao, teaching is more than just giving knowledge. It is also building character. Many of the impressionable youths who entered back then returned to their families either, an arrogant mage to confident for their own good that would be causing any number of problems later, or a nervous wreck who would need years of therapy to recover."

"The reason why I brought in Mr. Kyle was because he could sympathize better with the young minds. Building up their confidence without letting them get out of hand. Or that was the idea anyways, but it seems like it wasn't enough."
"What are you trying to say?"
"Vice principal Shao. Your services will no longer be needed. I thank you for your years of service."
"What is this?" The former vice principal asked as he grew pale.
"I am saying you are fired from your position as Vice principal of Shiro academy. Now get out of my office!"
After Blackbeard was forcefully dragged out of the principal's office by the school staff while throwing a tantrum. The principal was left alone in an empty office.
"Now, a position seemed to have opened up. I wonder who I'll choose. I'll have to pick carefully. We can't risk another disaster like last Walpurgisnacht." He said, turning towards the window as he looked contemplatively at the rest of the academy.
