It was the start of the second week of June, and it should have been just another typical day in Shan's college semester break.

It was not because his parents and his sister are suddenly back as if opening a portal from a door that connects the highest point of Mt. Everest to the deepest part of the Bermuda Triangle, but because of a woman who literally came out from a blue portal.
During that eventful night, as usual, he was naked, doing the deed on the couch in the living room, where suddenly a blue portal that looked like a realistic version of those he had seen in some manhwas appeared right in front of him while he was stroking his hair.
Luckily for him, the woman, wearing a noble-like dress, was unconscious, so he was not seen naked and had enough time to put on clothes before the woman eventually went back to her consciousness. Shan didn't even have time to be confused, as the woman went ballistic right after waking up.
She has long black hair that reaches down to the back of her knees, with graceful facial features that embody a perfect balance and harmony. She has smooth, fair skin with a slight porcelain glow, paired with a delicate, slim body that is elegantly fine-tuned as it is. Even from Shan's point of view, she would easily be the face of the university he is attending.
"Yeah? Tch, they wouldn't think the same if they knew she's a free-loader, ignorant narcissist with a princess syndrome and the strength to blow anyone's head to pieces~" He muttered to himself while looking away from the woman.
This same woman, who is currently wearing Shan's sister's casual clothes after taking a bath, is sitting on the floor beside him while he's sipping a glass of juice at the dining table in the living room.
But then, all of a sudden, with her smooth and slender leg, the woman stood up and stomped on the table with a slight amount of force, as if doing a variation of Kabedon.
And of course, Shan took a quick glimpse and saw her undies. "Wh-White..."
"What, are you ignoring me, commoner? Or is this an act of treason for making the future queen hungry and eventually dying from hunger?" proclaimed the same woman who went from a portal and is now living with him freely, "Are you this poor that you cannot provide for me anymore? It has not even been that long yet. Truly a commoner, are you not?"
"Ugh, said the person who just ate a whole freaking cake on the fridge half an hour ago..." Shan shrugged and added, "Must be tasty, yeah? Aw, I didn't even get a bite on it."
"Are you questioning my authority as Princess of Edengarde, Shan the commoner?"
"Wait, how did it come to authority? You mean you and your insatiable stomach? You ate 10 slices of pizza I bought last night, and then left me with one chicken in the whole chicken bucket containing 12 pieces the night before that. And how is that possible with that slim body of yours? Tch, I can't even get surprised anymore."
The woman has already been with Shan for three days, but despite how she is draining the money his parents had left him for the whole two weeks, Shan realized that he cannot just leave a woman who came out of a portal and does not know how the world she is in now works.
"Haiz~ what a hassle." Shan sighed. If this woman were to leave the house and target society, she would certainly wreak havoc, demanding food using her unknown status from an unknown world.
"Do you want your head blown like how I did that glass of water last time, commoner?" the woman threatened Shan with a glare and a fist, making him shriek.
"...Ha-ha, I'm just joking! Just joking, dear future queen of Eden-who knows where." He inevitably wavered and thought, "Well, uhm, about meat?"
"Hmph, that would suffice." The woman sat on the couch and finally calmed down.
Tch. Not like there's anyone out there who would take care of some monster like her- an internal monologue of the pitiful Shan the commoner while ordering food on his phone.
The woman got a serious look all of a sudden, saying, "Let us get to the topic, to where I come from, Shan, the commo-"
"Who even cares about that anymore?" Shan scoffed, grabbing the TV's remote and turning it on, adding, "Since you can't go back to your place, let's just watch some news or whatever. You need to know more about how this world works."
Shan whispered, "Damn, I need this Isekai'd narcissist to leave the house already so I should teach her how to behave in society."
The TV screen turned bright, but instead of watching the news, they saw an anime about zombies, specifically about a guy who once worked for a black company but is now roaming the streets freely with a smile because of a zombie apocalypse.
However, Shan mentioned the one word that will change everything. Literally, everything.
"Oh, Zombies-"
"What?! Commoner, how do you know that?!" The woman, in an instant, had stood up without Shan realizing.
"Uh, you mean the zombies?"
"Yes! Yes, The Zombies!"
"Uhh, because I just know them?" Shan replied nonchalantly, but remembered that the woman wasn't from his world and did not even know what a burger was. He then pointed to the screen, adding, "Ah, as you can see from there, those wild, weird-looking rotting humans with shattered clothes and blood stains on their bodies are what you call zombies."
It was supposed to be a straightforward explanation from Shan, which might have been degraded down to the point that even kids can distinguish what chocolate is from stool despite having the same brown color.
However, the woman grabbed Shan in the collar of his shirt, and with a serious look, said, "Commoner, are you making a fool of me right now!?"
"Wha-What!? No, they are really what you call zombies." Shan replied, troubled and confused. He tried to think if there was something wrong with what he said, but he was certain that it was supposed to be the perfect response, asking her, "What's wrong with what I said? Zombi-"
"-What's wrong with what you said, commoner?" the woman released Shan, looking down with fists and added, "You think The Zombies look like that? You think WE look like that!?"
"Wait, huh, we? What do you mean by 'we'?" Shan asked her and paused for a second, but then "Wait..." no matter how much he was trembling with confusion and fear for his life, he was still able to arrive at such a realization and stuttered, "N-no way, don't tell me..."
Then the woman, with a prideful look and a fiery glare at Shan, declared,
"Commoner, my family is The Zombies, Edengarde is the kingdom of The Zombies, and..."
"my name...is Princess Zombie!"
