"Ohh no", the mother said in a devastated voice like she was going to die,"leave my baby alone" she said rushing towards the direction of Damian like she was going to eat him raw.
"Ema noo" her husband said trying to stop her but she paid no heed to his words, with her hands stretched forward she tried dragging the baby away from his hand but before hrr hand could touch him he held her neck with his hand making sure his sharp claws pierced into her neck.
"I hate liars and with a snap of his hand he broke her neck.
"Nooo...", the husband screamed.
Damian moved with the speed of lightening towards the husband, with his sharp claws he slashed his neck, blood gushed out of the wound, he fell down to the floor dead.
"That's not the way to treat your in-laws" a deep voice said coming from the door followed by a deep chuckle. The man walk into the room and stood beside Damian.
"What is funny", Damian asked looking at the intruder.
"Well.., the reason for you almost turning the human race extinct is actually a baby" he said raising his hand to touch her silver hair.
"Don't touch her", Damian said snapped at him with a warning gaze.
"Chill man, I'm not going to eat her" he said in defense.
Damian turned his back to the man indirectly telling him, "I don't care".
Lucas (the intruder) smiled, " so what are you going to do with her, like Iean she just a baby, you can't train a baby can you", he said amused.
"Let's head back first", Damien said in a serious voice. With a limp they both they left the ruined village.

Damien stood at the balcony looking nowhere in particular lost in thoughts.
"Hmm... Damian" a voice from behind him called out, but after waiting for a while and not getting a response he continued.
"The baby.... What are you going to do with her" he asked cautiously dreading to hear Damian's response.
"I will keep her", he said gruffly knowing in his her heart that it wasn't possible.
"What!, no you can't, we both know the impending danger that lurkes in the dark waiting patiently to consume you and if they find out about her existence...." he words trailed not daring to continue.
Damian entire demeanor turned grim, he looked so sad like a lost puppy, Lucas smiled looking at him.
"See Damian, I'm not trying to separate you from your mate but I'm just trying to protect her, the condition now isn't good for her, you aren't strong enough to overcome the impending danger and as well protect her so letting her go would be the best option", he said in a calm soothing voice like a mother talking to her child.
Damian stayed quiet the whole time just listening to everything Lucas was saying, he turned and looked at Lucas his best friend, he stared at him for a little while shifting his gaze he looked at her his mate, Elisa, his Lost piece with the most tender and loving eyes, he couldn't even think about staying away from her but for the sake of her safety he had to do it, with determination in his eyes, he walked towards the bed where she was sleeping peacefully like an angel. He picked her up gentle in his arms trying not to wake her up.
"What are you going to do with her" Lucas asked.
Damian glared at him with anger, if eyes could kill he was surehe would have been dead by now. Ignoring him Damian walked towards the direction of the window with the baby in his arms.
"Am letting her go" Damian said leaping out of the room through the window.
