Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: The Imminent Journey to Earth

"Not enough medical equipment?"

Lynx frowned.

After Hanasia left, Bardock finally explained why he had stayed behind.

According to him, now that all Saiyans had begun training under Lynx's newly designed training method, a few new issues had emerged—The most pressing of which was a shortage of medical equipment on Planet Vegeta.

The Saiyans, after all, had never been a technologically advanced race. Most of their high-tech equipment had been plundered or traded from other civilizations.

Back when they served Frieza, the emperor had gifted them three healing pods—the same type that Goku had used on Namek in the original series.

But there were only three.

And now, with thousands of Saiyans actively training, it was woefully insufficient.

What's more, Lynx's training regimen—based on a fusion of Goku and Vegeta's techniques—was meant to push Saiyans to their absolute limits.

Such intense training naturally led to frequent injuries.

If they had sufficient healing pods, it wouldn't be a problem.

But now, the lack of medical equipment was seriously slowing down progress.

"That was my oversight…"

Lynx nodded, realizing this was a critical flaw in his plan.

Bardock quickly responded,

"Don't worry, Your Majesty. I can immediately send out scouts to search for civilizations with healing tech.

And if necessary… we could raid one of Frieza's bases and steal some."

But Lynx shook his head.

"No. We don't need a few machines or even a few dozen—we need hundreds, maybe thousands.I'll handle this personally."

Bardock bowed in understanding.

"Understood."

Shortly after parting with Bardock, Lynx teleported using Instant Transmission and appeared on Earth.

Beside him was Hanasia, dressed in a tight Saiyan battle suit and wearing a scouter over one eye.

As Lynx's newly claimed royal consort, Hanasia had been sticking to him like glue.

When she heard he was leaving the planet, she insisted on coming with him.

"Your Majesty, this is Earth? The gravity here feels so weak!"

"Yes… this is Earth."

Lynx looked around the familiar yet strange scenery, feeling a wave of nostalgia.

Since arriving in the Dragon Ball world, this was his first time setting foot on Earth.

Due to his reincarnation as a Saiyan, he didn't hold much emotional attachment to Earth anymore.

But this planet remained central to the Dragon Ball storyline, and was a crucial part of Lynx's long-term plans for a Saiyan Empire.

As seen in the original series, Saiyan-Earthling hybrids were often stronger than pureblood Saiyans.

So Lynx had already planned to form an alliance between the two planets eventually.

He just didn't expect the need to come this early, prompted by the medical equipment shortage.

While Frieza had once mocked Earth as a primitive planet, its technological sophistication far exceeded Saiyan understanding.

And more importantly, Earth was home to many genius inventors.

This time, Lynx had come to seek out one of the greatest minds on the planet: Dr. Brief, the famous scientist from West City.

He was also the father of one of the most important women in the entire Dragon Ball universe—Bulma.

And the medical machines Lynx desperately needed? They'd all come from his lab.

Without delay, Lynx and Hanasia flew toward West City.

Dr. Brief wasn't just a genius—he was also the founder of Capsule Corporation, Earth's most famous tech company.

He was like the Edison of Lynx's previous life: a world-renowned inventor and one of the richest men alive.

Because of that, it wasn't hard to find his house.

Upon arriving in West City, Lynx immediately located the largest building in the city, marked with the Capsule Corp logo.

He and Hanasia landed in front of it, preparing to knock.

But just as Lynx raised his hand—

He heard crying coming from inside.

"Don't be scared, Bulma! Honey, hold onto her for me!"

"I've got her, dear."

Inside the Brief household, Dr. Brief stood protectively in front of his wife and young daughter, arms spread wide.

Opposite them stood an old man with a cane, accompanied by three bizarre creatures that resembled Saibamen.

Scattered on the floor were several unconscious Capsule Corp guards.

The old man sneered:

"Dr. Brief, if you come quietly, no one will be harmed.

In fact, we'll even return your other daughter unharmed."

"My other… Tights? You captured Tights?!"

Dr. Brief's face went pale with shock.

"Correct. Now make your choice quickly.

Dr. Wheelo is waiting."

The old man rapped his cane against the floor.

But just then, a voice interrupted:

"Sorry, but Dr. Brief isn't going anywhere with you."

"Who's there?!"

The old man turned in alarm—only to see two strangers enter the room.

A man and a woman, both dressed in strange armor-like outfits.

"Darling, are those your friends?" Dr. Brief's wife asked nervously.

"No… I've never seen them before." Dr. Brief shook his head, just as confused.

What was going on today?

First, Dr. Kochin, the long-lost assistant of Dr. Wheelo, had shown up out of nowhere, claiming Wheelo wanted to meet him…

And now two more strangers had appeared.

Behind Mrs. Brief, a twin-tailed little girl peeked out from her arms, curiously eyeing the newcomers.

Of course, the intruders were none other than Lynx and Hanasia.

At a glance, Lynx had already figured out the situation.

And he immediately recognized the old man trying to abduct Dr. Brief—

It was Dr. Kochin, Wheelo's assistant from one of the Dragon Ball Z movies.

Dr. Wheelo, in Dragon Ball lore, was a top-tier human scientist, known for biological research, on par with Dr. Brief and Dr. Gero of the Red Ribbon Army.

In the movie, Wheelo tried to steal the body of the world's strongest fighter to resurrect himself—but was ultimately destroyed by Goku's Spirit Bomb.

Lynx hadn't expected to encounter Kochin this early, nor to see him appear at Dr. Brief's home.
