"Nonsense!" Frieza roared in rage.
But inside, he was deeply shaken.
Because everything Lynx had said was… absolutely true.
Frieza's so-called "final form power level" was purely a guess.
Ever since power level detectors were invented, their maximum reading had only slightly surpassed 2 million—a number more than sufficient for 90% of lifeforms in the universe.
But for the Frost Demon race, that limit meant nothing.
Once they transformed into their true or original forms, their power far exceeded what scouters could measure.
So for all these years, Frieza and his father could only estimate their true strength.
For example, Frieza had always assumed that his final form was dozens of times stronger than his third form, so he guessed his power level to be around 120 million.
But the truth? He couldn't have been more wrong.
Earlier, when Frieza claimed his third form was 3 million, Lynx had already sensed something off. According to the scouter Bulma had built, Frieza's third form was only 2.4 million.
And once Frieza entered his final form, Lynx had scanned again—and found his real power level to be just 11 million.
Far from the 100 million Frieza boasted.
At first, Lynx suspected Bulma's scouter was malfunctioning. But once he used his system interface, the result was the same:
Frieza: Power Level 11,000,000.
So much for that legendary "100 million."
Lynx had been bracing for a life-or-death battle to avenge Hanasia. Now? He realized Frieza didn't even have half his strength.
"Lies! Lies! All lies!!" Frieza shouted in fury, humiliated beyond belief.
"How could my power level be only eleven million?!"
Lynx calmly pointed to the scouter on his head.
"Frieza, here's a fact: this is the latest high-spec scouter developed by a genius. It has no upper limit. And it says your power level is exactly 11 million."
"W-What?!" Frieza's eyes widened in horror.
"Oh, and another thing," Lynx added, "My power level is over 20 million. And the female Super Saiyan you killed earlier? 12 million."
"So guess what?"
"You're just too weak."
"YOU FILTHY MONKEY!" Frieza shrieked, face twisted with rage. "How dare you call me weak?! I—FRIEZA—AM INVINCIBLE!!"
He twisted his body, charging up a massive energy wave that looked like a blazing wall of fire.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The blasts slammed into Lynx in rapid succession.
But Frieza wasn't done. He waved his arms wildly, hurling fire-splitting energy waves one after another.
Ding! Skill learned: Fire Splitter Wave.
For nearly a full minute, the cold darkness of space was lit by the blood-red glare of relentless blasts.
When Frieza finally stopped, panting and spent, a twisted smile crept across his face.
"Take that! And you dare call me weak?! Now you see my true power!"
"Sorry… but you're still too weak."
A voice echoed out of the smoke.
Frieza froze, as if struck by lightning.
His pupils shrank. A chill surged from the base of his spine to the top of his skull.
From within the dissipating smoke… Lynx emerged—completely unharmed.
Frieza's face twisted in fear. Lynx saw the terror in his eyes.
With a sigh, Lynx thought to himself:
"If not for the vacuum of space, Hanasia probably could have defeated him too..."
But Frieza… was just too vile. Too cowardly.
Meanwhile, Frieza's mind was racing in panic.
"No! I need to escape! I'll go to Father! I'm no match for him now! Only Father can protect me!"
Having given up on winning, Frieza was now fully focused on escape.
"Trash! I'll kill you!!" Frieza yelled, summoning a swirling black-purple energy sphere in his hand. He hurled it at Lynx with full force.
Ding! Skill learned: Planet Destroyer Bomb.
At the same time, Frieza's body turned into a streak of light, shooting off in the opposite direction—toward his spaceship.
While he could fly in space, interstellar travel required a ship.
As his vessel grew larger in view, Frieza muttered to himself:
"Once I reach Father, I'll train seriously! Just wait, you filthy monkeys—next time, I'll destroy you all!"
Being born powerful, Frieza had never trained in his life. But now, for the first time, he realized he'd need to.
The ship was almost within reach. Through the windows, Frieza could even see his terrified subordinates pounding the glass, gesturing frantically.
Behind him.
Frieza turned around—only to see a blinding blue light, like a miniature sun, appear behind him.
Lynx floated in place, hands joined, eyes focused.
Softly, he spoke:
"Kame..."
Just as Frieza's energy ball whizzed past, Lin Chen's body vanished, reappearing instantly behind Frieza.
Frieza spun in disbelief.
"How did you—"
He never finished.
"HA!!!"
Lynx shouted the final syllable, and with a forward thrust of his arms, unleashed a massive Kamehameha.
A roaring blue wave shot toward Frieza with unstoppable force.
"I CAN'T DIE!!"
Frieza screamed, throwing out both hands to resist the blast.
But it was futile.
Within moments, his hands disintegrated in the blast's fury.
"AAARRGHHHHHHH!!!"
And in the next instant…
Frieza was gone—completely engulfed by the brilliant blue light.
