After sixty violent crimes, including the murder of multiple police officers, he was locked away for good. But M.A.N doesn't break. He breaks out. M.A.N is the Senator's secret weapon: silent, efficient, untouchable. But M.A.N isn't killing for power. He's killing for love. His mission? To carve a future out of chaos for the only person he still cares about: his little brother - a boy who still believes his big brother can be saved. To stop him, six of Nigeria's best detectives are pulled into a brutal national manhunt: Detective Byers, the strategist who sees ten moves ahead. Detective Okonkwo, with unmatched instincts and street smarts. Detective Bolawole, the moral center with the most to lose. Detective Chukwueze, bold, reckless, and fearless. Detective Salami, who trusts no one, not even her own team. Detective Abdullah, haunted by past mistakes. Their orders: Bring M.A.N in alive. No body bags. No excuses. But as the chase intensifies and the cost of justice rises, each detective must face a terrifying question: What if the system they're protecting is more dangerous than the man they're chasing? Chapter 1 - Blood on the badge

A clearing on the edge of a bustling city, dominated by immense hustling and struggle. There is a sound of the Necom skyscraper door opening and someone leaves the building. A man with huge and broad shoulders walks out of the building carrying a pistol but then the police sight him with the pistol and decide to question him. Immediately this man knows something is wrong he takes off causing the police to blast their sirens and pursue him.

(Police sirens)

Policeman/Cop: hands up and turn around slowly!

Cop2: do what he said or we'll shoot!!

Criminal or murderer: y'all are cops, you ain't gonna shoot!

Cop1: really? Then you just met the wrong cops today. (Criminal shoots both cops and run)

(Hours later anti-crime bureau detectives arrive with other policemen at the murder scene)

Detective Byers: a cop killer now on the loose, besides, killing a cop is a federal offence, right?

Detective Okonkwo: this guy has killed 19cops in 8 different cities and 6states!

Detective Bolawole: how does he escape all the time?

Detective Okonkwo: if cop killing is a federal offence and this guy hasn't been arrested in over 3 states he's either too good at escaping or....

Detective Byers: has someone in government....

Detective Bolawole: or is working for someone in government!

Detective Byers: probably someone powerful in Nigerian politics or a prominent politician in this country.

Detective Okonkwo: who could that be?

Detective Byers: now that's our mystery!

(At the Lagos city police department (LCPD)

Detective Emeka: detectives, what brings you here?

Detective Byers: a cop killer is on the loose!

Detective Emeka: oh, that my boys are handling it!

Detective Okonkwo: if I may recall 2 of your boys were handling it today and died!

Detective Emeka: now listen here Okonkwo or whatever you call yourself, my boys train for years and put everything on the line and here you are down talking them. Not because you work for the bureau you think your more special or have more authority, you keep forgetting that we are on the same rank and I work harder than you do!

Detective Okonkwo: but I earn more than you do. Back off, this is now a case of the ACB.

Detective Emeka: if I don't?

Detective Okonkwo: then be prepared to lose your job detective!

Detective Okonkwo: is that a threat?

Detective Okonkwo: I don't do threats I do promises!

(Detective Byers removes a file from a drawer)

Detective Emeka: what are you doing with that?

Detective Byers: I want to use it to catch this cop killer!

Detective Bolawole: what is that?

Detective Byers: the personal information of this criminal!

(At the A.C.B headquarters in Lagos)

Detective Byers: this criminal or cop killer is known as Michael Anderson Nathaniel. He's also known as the M.A.N. He's wanted for over 80crimes which include: treason, multiple rape cases, murder, pedophile, kidnapping, child murder...

(Detective Chukwueze interrupts)

Detective Chukwueze: electoral violence, terrorism and banditry, destruction of public property and others you forgot detective!

Detective Bolawole: you didn't let him finish!

Detective Byers: I didn't see when you stepped in here detective!

Detective Chukwueze: I'm like a thief in the night!

Detective Okonkwo: how did you know the other crimes?

Detective Chukwueze: I've been following this case before you 3 did!

Detective Bolawole: Chukwueze is there a way we could get an actual footage of the crime?

Detective Chukwueze: Bolawole my old friend!

Detective Bolawole: we were never friends so let's get on with it!

Detective Chukwueze: well there was only one camera in that alley and I'm not sure it covered everywhere.

Detective Byers: we still wanna see it!

Detective Chukwueze: ok! Follow me.

(He takes them to his office and shows them the video)

Detective Okonkwo: before he entered that alley, he came out of somewhere.

Detective Byers: y'all which building is in that area?

Detective Chukwueze: a skyscraper

Detective Bolawole: the name asshole?

Detective Chukwueze: the Necom building!

Detective Bolawole: why would a criminal like that be in an international building like that?

Detective Byers: unless he robbed there.

Detective Chukwueze: but there wasn't any robbery call today was there?

Detective Okonkwo: I think he was with someone or went to see someone!

Detective Chukwueze: if you wanna ask if I have access to their cameras I don't because their owned privately and the constitution limits our access to private properties unless they allow us to access the footage of today besides its late.

Detectives Byers: how late?

Detective Chukwueze: 1:06am

Detective Byers: shit!

Detective Bolawole: what happened?

Detective Byers: yesterday was Valentine's Day remember!

Detective Okonkwo: oh! I remember now!

Detective Chukwueze: what do you remember?

Detective Okonkwo: he promised his girlfriend dinner.

Detective Byers: we'll continue today 6:30am sharp!

(He leaves them)

Detective Okonkwo: he gonna die!
