The morning after Cloud Cafeteria's spectacular debut, I'm standing in the main dining room of our International Drive location, watching the final touches being applied. Crystal chandeliers hang from the coffered ceiling. Italian marble floors gleam under soft LED lighting. Fresh orchids grace every table.
"Sir," Vincent approaches with his usual precise gait. "The review from Orlando Magazine is already online. Five stars. They're calling it 'a dining experience that redefines luxury in Central Florida.'"
"Good." I run my finger along the polished surface of the host station. "And reservations?"
"Booked solid for the next three weeks. All seven locations."
"Excellent."
My phone buzzes. A text from an unknown number again.
*Logan Bell spent all morning driving between your locations. He looks terrified. - A friend*
I delete the message without responding. Whoever this mysterious informant is, they seem determined to keep me updated on my enemies' movements.
