Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 - Officially Joining a Familia, Unlocking the Strongest Falna Panel

A petite and delicate hand suddenly extended in front of the boy.

Raven Eltharion looked up.

The person before him… was the blue ribbon goddess herself!

Twin black ponytails, bright blue eyes, and an absolutely stunning figure.

A thin blue ribbon passed beneath her chest, tied around her arms.

Hestia narrowed her crescent eyes, a faint smile gracing her face.

In that moment—

They finally met.

Perhaps… it was fate—an encounter carefully arranged by the heavens.

Raven smiled and reached out, gently holding the little hand Hestia offered. "I'm willing."

Hearing that, Hestia beamed. "Wonderful!"

"I finally have my own Familia!"

After the brief excitement—

Hestia cheerfully said, "My name is Hestia."

"I'm Raven Eltharion," he replied with a smile. "It's my first time in Orario."

"So, Lady Goddess, I'll be in your care from now on."

Tonight, at last—he wouldn't have to sleep on the streets!

Hestia was in a fantastic mood. She couldn't wait. "Then, Raven-kun, let's go home!"

"I'll grant you your Falna right away!"

"Alright," Raven responded calmly.

All the way home—

Hestia was extremely enthusiastic, chattering nonstop as she introduced Orario to Raven:

Its layout, its people, and especially—the dangers of the Dungeon beneath Babel Tower.

In other words, she hoped he'd become an excellent adventurer…

Rather than just a layabout freeloading at home.

Along the way—

The generous Hestia even bought him two bags of fried potato balls for dinner.

It was humble fare, yes—but better than going hungry.

Raven didn't mind.

But silently, he made a promise to himself: Once I get stronger, I'll feast on the finest meals every day!

About an hour later, the two arrived at a deserted, broken-down old church.

The scene was exactly as described in the original series.

Not a single soul was seen for blocks in any direction.

Dilapidated buildings had all crumbled into ruins.

Only the broken, battered church still resembled something habitable.

Hestia cleared her throat awkwardly. "Ahem~"

"Raven-kun, don't be disappointed, okay?"

"Our Familia base… is in the basement of this church."

Seeing that Raven didn't show a hint of dislike, she smiled confidently and added:

"Of course! This is just temporary. One day we'll be rich—you've got to believe me!"

Raven nodded, smiling slightly. "Lady Goddess."

"To be honest, I'm not picky about where I live."

"And I do believe things will only get better."

"Come on, let's head in."

Overjoyed, Hestia leaped into Raven's arms, wiggling excitedly.

"Uuuu~ Raven-kun~"

"Meeting you might be the best thing that's ever happened to me."

"I really, really like you!"

Raven gently stroked her head, a warm happiness rising on his face.

A short while later—

They entered through the old door, made their way inside, and descended to a wooden room in the basement.

The walls were gray and cracked in all directions.

Under the dim glow of an oil lamp—

You could even see the exposed blue bricks beneath in places.

The room was barely 30 square meters.

There was only one tiny bed, a tattered sofa, and a small table.

It was plain and humble, but Raven didn't mind at all.

Hestia led him to the bed and said softly, "Raven-kun."

"Lie down and take off your shirt."

"I'm going to inscribe your Falna on your back."

"Once we've made this contract… we're family."

The contract was sacred.

No one could go back on it—it was absolute.

The Falna, or blessing, was the power used to fight Dungeon monsters.

It didn't grant superpowers instantly—

Instead, it awakened one's inner potential—

Turning the ordinary into someone with limitless growth.

"I understand. Let's begin."

With that, Raven took off his shirt, revealing his well-toned back.

Hestia's eyes widened in surprise.

Defined muscles rose from his frame, along with eight-pack abs up front.

She couldn't help but want to reach out and touch it.

What a perfect body!

She had thought he'd be skinny…

But unexpectedly—his figure was stacked. Absolutely flawless.

"Lady Goddess, are you ready?" Raven asked, excitement glimmering in his eyes.

Once he received the Falna, he could complete his beginner quest!

"Here we go," Hestia replied, snapping out of her daze.

She took out a small needle and pricked her finger—

Then let a drop of her divine blood drip onto Raven's back.

A soft glow began to radiate.

In just moments—

A vivid, intricate crest appeared on Raven's back, resembling sacred flames bursting forth.

The shape of the fire resembled a phoenix—an ever-burning mythical bird.

This was his unique Familia crest—a symbol of fire entwined with a divine clock motif.

In contrast, Loki Familia's crest resembled a jester.

At that moment—

The familiar mechanical loli voice echoed once more in Raven's mind.

The next instant—

Ancient, divine letters rapidly shifted and transformed.

Hestia's eyes grew wider and wider as she watched the text change in real time.

W-what the hell…?!

The moment the data stabilized—

Hestia was stunned speechless.

Her mouth hung wide open in a perfect O shape.

Raven-kun… he actually… has THREE magic spells?!

And three skills too?!

How is this even possible?!

Did I just strike gold?!

This boy…

Could his talent truly be that monstrous?!

Hestia was so shocked, she couldn't utter a single word.

For reference—

Finn, the prum captain of Loki Familia, had 1 magic spell and 2 skills upon first receiving his Falna.

Riveria had 3 magic spells and 2 skills.

One of her magic spells could be cast in three different ways—

Which earned her the nickname "Nine Hell Princess".

But Raven—

Was even more terrifying!

Right off the bat, he got 3 magic spells and 3 skills!

And one of those spells… could simulate the effects of 99 different magic spells!

A completely unprecedented monster!

A while later—

Raven, noticing the goddess still sitting on his lower back without moving, asked awkwardly:

"Lady Goddess… are you done?"

Snapping out of her daze, Hestia quickly grabbed a piece of parchment.

Excitedly, she recorded and transferred all of Raven's Falna data.

"Hehe~!"

Hestia was utterly delighted, giddy with happiness. "From now on, Raven-kun is mine!"
