You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.
Year 2:
Shoutings could be heard from my house, they came almost every day and I I kept wondering if there's ever going to be an end to them
Sometimes those screams were my own, sometimes of my older brother, but they mostly belonged to my mom.
My father was the cause, he kept drinking and smoking and hitting my mom and my brother
He didn't touch me by it's probably because I'm a baby
I watched and listened to the horrors that surrounded my house day in and day out, in my sleep that's all I could dream of.
I didn't eat much, not because I wasn't hungry but because there was no food for me to eat
My mother looked more depressed as time went by and eventually we took off and left my father to a small house in the countryside
I haven't seen my mom a lot since, she was always out working
But my brother stayed with me in the house
As time went by we felt how things got worse financially, how we had even less food than before and how we couldn't afford our preschool any longer
My mom seems more depressed , giving me a look of cold and detached eyes
I felt my body gets weaker by the day, I started to get nosebleeds and I kept vomiting , I felt dry tears on my face when I woke up .
One day mom took me to a house in a different city, I went along quietly holding on to her skirt .
We went inside to the room full of strangers , they gave me pity glares and I watched them in a unsettled feeling
My mom suddenly went on her knees and bowed to them , they looked a bit startled but mostly uncomfortable
" please, help me take care of Jaejoong"
" I'm begging you, I can't do it "
I looked at her and tried to understand what she meant by that
They declined
We went to another house and another one
With time I understood that I'm being thrown out but I wanted it as much as mom so how can I blame her
Year 3:
we got to a small house and were greeted by a grown woman with a smile on her face
I could feel she was kind and started to hope I'll be able to stay this time
As my mom asked her she looked at her with teary eyes but declined nonetheless
I went up to her and hugged her, calling her mom and yapping
She looked startled and hugged me back
" fine, I'm your mom from today on"
Year 12:
I went to school with my older sister, she was one year older than me
I was born early in the year so I got to go to the same class as her
I have a very loud household, it's my parents, my 8 older sisters and me
We're not very well off so I don't get to see my parents much since they're working but I get to hangout with my sisters a lot so I don't feel very lonely
My mom has a restaurant it's the first floor of our house and we live in the second floor
I go down to the restaurant a lot and watch my mom as she cooks
It made curios about cooking and I started to cook too and learn from her
I'm now in 6th grade in class 7 , we're also known as the S class , stands for stupid but no one actually needs to know that
My sister is in class 5 and I try to avoid her as much as possible in school
Today school ends late so I headed towards the cafeteria in search for food
On the way I've came across Seo Taehee by the stairs, I gave her a nod and she gave one back with a smile
She wasn't the most pretty girl in school by she was very charming and did have a pretty smile, she was intriguing, she was in class 1 the class of the athletes
" hey , jaejoong"
"Hey, are you here till late too?" I asked in curiosity
" yea" she sighed
" it's feels like torture" she gave me a look full of suss like she was planing how to bury the man that's invested school
I laughed at that giving her a look back
" no pain, no gain"
" umm" she looked upset " I don't want the gain , I'm dying here"
" wanna get back together?"
Her eyes lit up " sure"
—after two hours-
I waited for her by the entrance, she got out and waved to me
We started walking towards the gates
" where do you live?" I asked her and smirked
She paused " I am not telling you with that's look on your face"
" why?"
She gave me a look which just made her eyes look squinty but I'm no mind reader
" just because"
" come on, I'll drop you in your place unharmed"
I laughed a little at that because she was known as the best fighter in school
As we got closer to my house I asked her " would you show me some tricks sometimes?"
She lifted her eyebrow and took a step closer to me
" sure , let's do it now"
She got to the wall behind me and turned to me
" come here" she said
And I stared to walk towards her
When we were close enough she suddenly grabbed me by my collar and smashed me against the wall
I expected to receive some sort of punch but instead she brought her face closer to mine and her lips touched my own
I stared at her wide eyed as she kissed me
When she let go she winked at me and went her way
Year 13:
I moved to the new school in the start of the year and now I'm in the internet cafe playing games
