Codex Glossary: Chapter 1–20 Edition
📉 SYSTEM INTERFACE TERMSCodex Interface
A soul-bound, evolving system that records, analyzes, and manipulates spiritual data. Accessible only by Roth and those he authorizes. Appears as a floating, transparent interface visible to the user.
Soul Grade Gauge
Displays the user's cultivation level and progress within that realm. Example format:
[ Qi Initiate ▓░░░░░░░░░ 4% ]
Each realm is subdivided by internal thresholds marked by Codex progression.
Sect Favor
A percentage meter indicating how loyal and synchronized a follower or disciple is with the Pavilion and Roth's Codex. Higher favor unlocks:
More access to Codex functions
Passive Spirit Point generation
Shared talent benefits
Favor can increase through loyalty, contribution, or cultivation breakthroughs within the Pavilion.
Spirit Points (SP)
Energy currency used by the Codex to perform actions such as:
Copying or fusing talents
Running scans or system upgrades
Fueling certain high-tier talents
SP regenerates slowly over time, faster in Spirit-rich environments or via Spirit Nodes.
Affinity Wheel
Displays Roth's elemental alignments:
Fire, Water, Earth, Spirit (initially)
Later expanded to include Wind, Metal, Shadow, etc.
Stars beside elements indicate depth of affinity. Copying talents often enhances associated affinities.
Talent Slots
The Codex can store up to 20 talents. Slots are divided into:
Core: Central to combat/personal style (1 slot max)
Active: Trigger-based skills or techniques
Passive: Always-on enhancements or resistances
More slots unlock as Roth and the Pavilion evolve.
Active Alerts
Real-time warnings and status effects. Examples:
Rival Scan Detected: Another system user is probing nearby
Shard Corruption Imminent: Talent fragment becoming unstable
Cosmic Threat: Detection of high-realm spiritual fluctuations
Codex Actions
Scan: Analyze a person, creature, or artifact to learn talents or properties.
Copy: Adds a scanned talent to Codex, consuming Spirit Points.
Fuse: Combines two or more compatible talents into a new one.
Evolve: Upgrades a talent's tier (locked until Tier 2).
Archive: Logs battle data, growth history, and disciple activity.
[⚙️Settings]: Adjust Codex preferences, visual overlays, and privacy protocols.
