[ Welcome to the starless dimensional program, on the start of every winter every person that turned 16 that year (worldwide) will have to gather in front of this gate or will face death in the most brutal way. Inside every individual will have their own unique map to kill monsters and find skills they will also have a leveling system and will get xp on every monster they kill depending on how strong the monster is and will get a 10% chance to get a skill and in will be ranked form F-A,

If you hit level 100 before winter ends then you will get to keep your skills but will restart from level 1 but if you don't hit level 100 all the skills you learned will disappear and you will never use this system again. (Also if you die you will stay dead :>).]
Everybody ascended into panic especially the 16 year olds because it is almost the start of winter.
At the end of winter only around a third of what went in came out and only 13 managed to hit level 100.
After this event 8 of the 13 successors established guilds but only 5 became successful

They also found out that a dungeon will appear annually.
After that the successors started calling themself the starlesses.
Eventually people started to adapt to their new reality.
A two or three decades later the starless dimensional program appeared again informing everyone worldwide
