Chapter 1 - Introduction.

Adrian Grim was a 19-year-old college student who had many hobbies in his free time, such as watching anime, playing gacha games, and writing fanfiction. But out of all his hobbies, one stood out: creating character builds for CYOAs. For Adrian, CYOA was a place where he could create characters, design fictional worlds, and even plan crossovers between different universes. For him, it was just a form of escapism, a pastime that allowed him to live out adventures through his computer screen. One day, he received an email from one of his readers named "ROB," who enjoyed his fanfiction and who, like him, claimed to be a fan of CYOAs and was creating an interactive CYOA unlike any he had ever read.

Despite finding it a coincidence and strange that this reader called himself ROB (Random Omnipotent Bastard), a name CYOA creators used for entities that transported humans to other universes after they filled out a CYOA sheet, Adrian didn't take it very seriously, believing his reader was just a really avid CYOA fan and not actually a cosmic entity.

Adrian opened the link, which led to the Worm CYOA page. He was truly impressed by the number of options he found in this CYOA, which not only allowed him to choose a vast range of powers but also interesting perks and drawbacks that allowed him to alter the character's appearance, sex, gender, and personality, and even the artistic style of the world – for example, if it was an anime-based world, its appearance would adopt an anime aesthetic.

But what really grabbed his attention was the crossover options, which allowed him to choose the dynamics of interactions between different fictional universes and Worm, where he could place universes as existing within the same universe as Worm, such as another solar system, an extra dimension, etc. After reviewing all the options, Adrian decided, just for fun, to create a character named "Adriana," a female version of himself, with Shifter powers combined with some abstract powers that break people's sense of reality and perception. Her appearance would be that of Abel von Nibelung, a character from a manhwa called *Conquering the Academy with Just a Sashimi Knife* (Manhwa).

As a character, she would be chaotic, constantly creating misunderstandings and confusion for those who observe her, who will be almost incapable of understanding her completely or why they are attracted to such a person whose actions defy common sense. This would be due to the perks, drawbacks, and powers, which will create funny, humiliating, and insane situations.

Adrian Grim never imagined that his life would change radically while exploring the Interactive CYOA. But something unexpected happened. When he clicked "Start Story," the site seemed to freeze for a moment, the loading bar flickering strangely. Adrian frowned, leaning closer to the screen. For an instant, he could swear he saw his own reflection distorting on the monitor, as if he was being pulled inside.

A sharp pain shot through his head, and the world around him seemed to spin. He tried to get up, but his limbs wouldn't respond. His last conscious thought was, "What do you mean I did this to myself?" The phrase, strangely familiar, echoed in his mind, loaded with cruel irony. All the choices that led him there had been forgotten. Adrian felt a sudden pull, as if his body was being sucked into the screen.
