Bloodline and Betrayal
Lin Chaoyuan's smile faded into cold silence as the woman...the only living witness to the past..finished her words.
She barely took a breath.
And then...
SLASH!
A blade gleamed for a heartbeat..then blood sprayed across the floor.
The woman collapsed at the doorway, her eyes wide in shock.
"N-no…"
The letter in her trembling hand fell beside her, stained with red.
She was dead.
Silence reigned.
None of the three masters moved...Fung Shu Ri, Kin Lishuan, or Chui Yong. They stood frozen, stunned by the suddenness. Their bodies refused to move, as though time itself had halted.

Standing just behind them, their faces pale, were Mo Yan and Yu Sui.
Yu Sui's eyes were flooded red, not with rage...but with grief. The shimmering white bond on his wrist pulsed, as if echoing his heartbeat.
He stared at the lifeless body of the woman who had saved him… the letter… and then at Lin Chaoyuan.
His breath hitched.
He shook his head.
"No…"
And then...vanished.
A swirl of blue flame—and Yu Sui disappeared from sight.
"Yu!" Mo Yan took a step to follow....but a voice stopped him.
Fung Shu Ri:
"Mo…!
We believe this is all just another trap.
We will not trust this traitor ever again!"
But Mo Yan didn't answer.
His eyes were fixed on the letter in Master Chui Yong's hand.
His gaze slowly lowered… to the woman's corpse.
His fists clenched.
Then.....
A metallic ring echoed.
He drew his sword in one swift motion.
A blaze of silver and fury filled the room.
"Enough talk," he whispered.
And lunged straight at Lin Chaoyuan.
The traitor didn't flinch.
In fact..he smiled.
"Ah… there you are," Lin said darkly.
"Like your mother. Full of rage.
But do you think you're enough?"
Their blades clashed in a burst of light.
