Chapter 32 - Chapter 32 Spider Ghost Mother

"We need to hurry up, that idiot!" Tanjiro said to Fang Hao and Zenitsu with an anxious expression.

"Are we getting further and further away? How come we can't see Inosuke at all?" Zenitsu was also full of worry.

"Let's keep chasing. With Tanjiro here, we won't lose him. But we also need to conserve our strength, as there might be more than one demon in these mountains," Fang Hao said.

"Yes, since the five of us met outside, we'll naturally leave as five people!" Tanjiro said seriously.

"Who, who's there!" Tanjiro suddenly twitched his nose, looked towards the bushes, and stopped his steps.

Fang Hao naturally trusted Tanjiro, and vigilantly looked towards the bushes, his right hand gripping his nichirin blade.

Zenitsu, on the other hand, hid behind Fang Hao in fear, initially wanting to grab onto Fang Hao, but thinking of a potential fight, he gave up on that idea.

"Rustle, rustle..."

The bushes swayed, and a figure emerged from them. The person stumbled towards them, and halfway there, fell to the ground like a puppet with cut strings.

Fang Hao, gripping his nichirin blade, slowly walked forward. "This is a Demon Slayer Corps uniform." The person's face was down, so Fang Hao couldn't see it clearly, but the Demon Slayer Corps uniform was instantly recognizable.

However, Fang Hao still didn't let his guard down, continuing to walk slowly forward, his hand on the nichirin blade never dropping.

"What!" Hearing Fang Hao's words, Tanjiro rushed forward to help the person up, "Wait." The face of a young man in his twenties appeared before them.

"Never mind," Fang Hao released his nichirin blade and also moved closer to Tanjiro.

"Hey, what's wrong with you? Wake up." Tanjiro shook the Demon Slayer Corps member's body, urgently asking, "What happened? Why are you the only one? Where are the other Demon Slayer Corps members?"

Fang Hao looked like he was about to speak but held back. He took out water and food, handing them to Tanjiro, "His lips are blue, and his face is pale. He must be poisoned. When he wakes up, let him drink some water and eat something."

"Poisoned?" Tanjiro frowned and carefully examined him, finally picking up a white thread. "This thread, is it from a silkworm? Or a spider?"

"Run!" The person spoke weakly. After opening his eyes and seeing Tanjiro, he became extremely agitated, trying to grab Tanjiro's lapel, but due to his weakness, his hand slipped to the ground.

"Don't worry," Tanjiro took his hand. "Don't be afraid, take your time." The warmth from Tanjiro's hand calmed him down considerably.

"Go find the Pillars... let them come... there are spiders in the mountain... run quickly." After speaking, he fainted again.

"Zenitsu, you stay here too," Fang Hao said to Zenitsu, who was beside him.

"Tanjiro, we don't have an antidote, but we can give him something to eat to keep him warm. I'll leave him to you here."

"Fang Jun?"

"I'm going to find Inosuke. It's still too dangerous here. Can you point me in the right direction?"

"Fang Jun, let me go instead." Tanjiro felt his nose would be more effective at finding people.

"The demons here can't hurt me." Fang Hao's tone was very calm, but the confidence in his words made people look at him, and this confidence also infected Tanjiro.

"Then you... be careful, in that direction." Tanjiro pointed Fang Hao in the right direction.

"You all be careful too, and protect Nezuko. It's not suitable for her to come out now. The Pillars should be arriving soon." Fang Hao remembered this very clearly; Inosuke had met Water Pillar Giyu Tomioka on Spider Mountain.

"Zenitsu."

"Big Brother." Zenitsu heard Fang Hao call him and stood up straight.

"If you encounter danger and can't swing your nichirin blade, just faint."

"Yes, huh?"

"It's not necessarily safe here either. We're all on spiderwebs, and to spiders, anything on their webs is food. And they're very sensitive to what's on their own webs. This place has probably been noticed too."

----------

"One got away, damn it!" The speaker was a woman dressed in a white kimono. Her skin, hair, and even eyebrows were white, making her very conspicuous in the night. Only the red patterns on her face, like eyeballs, disrupted this harmony, making her look very eerie.

She was sitting cross-legged on a bluestone, her face filled with tension, or perhaps fear. "If I can't deal with them quickly, it will attract the demon slayers, and... Rui... will be angry."

Towards the end, her voice began to tremble, and her words were intermittent. To her, Rui was a terrifying existence.

"Hmm, could you tell me where Rui is?" A calm voice suddenly sounded. She quickly turned to look. The owner of the voice was an extremely handsome man, with black hair and black eyes, and a very calm expression, showing no fear of demons at all.

"Human!" She was worried about not being able to explain to Rui about letting someone escape, so seeing a human delivered to her doorstep was exactly what she wanted.

The white-haired female demon leaped down from the bluestone and attacked without the slightest hesitation.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

Several silver lights shot through the air, almost imperceptible under the moonlight.

The man, however, merely walked forward, shifting his body slightly to the side in the middle, avoiding the woman's attack.

"Don't want to say, or don't dare to say?" The man's tone carried a hint of confusion as he continued to walk towards the white-haired female demon.

The female demon looked at that still calm face, and her body actually began to tremble. "This human gives me a feeling similar to Rui, that oppressive feeling..."

"Don't come closer!" She roared, raising her hands as if insane, desperately launching her offensive. Silver light flashed, and even denser silver threads shot out from her hands, attacking the man in unison.

"What a pity, I thought I could get some answers." The man was Fang Hao. He had also recognized the identity of the white-haired female demon in front of him; her Blood Demon Art was to control human bodies with spider silk (is that called recognizing?).

Since he couldn't get any answers, Fang Hao was ready to act. "Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash."

Golden lightning flashed from the nichirin blade sheath, extremely dazzling in the night. In an instant, the golden light swept past the white-haired female demon's body, and Fang Hao appeared behind her, smoothly returning his nichirin blade to its sheath.

A bloodline appeared on the female demon's neck, and she fell to the ground, "Why? I just wanted to... live. How did it... come to this?"

She played the role of the Spider Demon Mother in this false family, but she had no status within the family. She also feared Rui, who played the role of her son. Now, although she was dead, she was also liberated.

"A smile of liberation?" Fang Hao understood in his heart. He calmly watched the figure dissipating into the air before him. She couldn't fight at all, or rather, she wasn't good at fighting head-on. Faced with Fang Hao's Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash, she didn't even try to dodge. She must have been forced to fight.

Fang Hao would not feel any sympathy for this seemingly tragic female demon. At least from her previous words, she had helped a lot in killing Demon Slayer Corps members. Whether forced or for some other reason, her hands were truly stained with a lot of sin.

However, I will send your family on Spider Mountain down to accompany you later, rest assured...
