POV: Lady Seraphina Darkflame
The scent of ancient incense filled the sanctum where the great twin-altar stood — one carved from obsidian and the other from starlight crystal. They represented the dichotomy of her bloodline: darkness, chaos, and devouring hunger, balanced by clarity, affinity, and awakening.
Lady Seraphina Darkflame knelt between the two, her breath shallow, fingers trembling as she etched protective runes in her own blood across the stone floor.
She was no longer a general, no longer the icy commandant of the Celestial War. Tonight, she was only a mother.
The cries of the newborns echoed behind her like a celestial chorus. One cry — sharp, commanding, filled with untamed darkness. The other — soft, melodic, and faintly harmonic. Light and shadow. Brother and sister.
System Update — Personal Interface [Seraphina Darkflame]:
Family Record Accessed: Bloodline Twins Registered.‣ Kael Darkflame — [Affinity Consumption, Dormant]‣ Lyra Darkflame — [Celestial Affinity, Dormant]
Prophecy Flag Activated: The convergence of devourer and purifier shall shift the fates of realms.
She stared at the glowing system glyph, disbelieving.
A prophecy tag? That only triggered when fate was being rewritten.
The chamber door groaned open.
Azrael entered, blood dripping down his gauntlets, shadows trailing his boots like loyal beasts. His red eyes met hers and softened just slightly. "We're out of time. The wards are failing."
Seraphina rose and moved to the twin cradles. She knelt beside Kael first, brushing a lock of black hair from his tiny forehead. His skin was warm — unnaturally warm — and his breath carried a faint, visible aura of darkness.
His system had activated even before his first words were spoken.

She whispered into his tiny ears, "You were born from destruction, my little void. But you will not be chained by it."
She then turned to Lyra, her daughter, who gazed back silently — her violet eyes sharp, unnaturally alert.

Lyra cooed as Seraphina held her close. The scent of stardust clung to the girl like perfume — a child destined for sanctity, surrounded by wolves.
Azrael placed a hand on her shoulder. "It's time."
Seraphina nodded once, then took the Pendant of the Abyss, its core forged from the void metal mined from the edge of the rift realm. It was one of the few artifacts in existence that could suppress bloodline signatures, dampen system traces, and shield one from divine perception — at the cost of memory suppression.
She fastened it around Kael's neck. "This will keep him hidden until he is ready to awaken."
The stone flared once, then dimmed, masking Kael's aura completely.
From the side corridor, Elara, their most loyal servant and sworn blood retainer, entered. Her face was pale but composed.
"You're entrusting me with the son of two Sovereigns," she said, voice barely above a whisper.
Seraphina handed her the swaddled boy, now asleep again. "No. I'm entrusting you with hope."
The teleportation sigil beneath them blazed as the Realm Divider Spell activated. It could only be used once every century — a desperate measure to scatter destiny across the realms.
Elara stepped into the portal, cradling Kael.
As she vanished, Seraphina turned to Lyra and, with Azrael's aid, activated the Heavenveil Seal, an ancient rite that created a forged celestial background for their daughter — one undetectable to the gods themselves.
Lyra would grow up among the very beings who sought to extinguish her family.
The irony was cruel — but necessary.

POV: Unknown Celestial OverseerLocation: Astral Tribunal, Central Sky Realm
A giant pool of mirrored starlight rippled as figures cloaked in white and gold surrounded it. Dozens of wings shimmered — feathers infused with law, flame, and purity.
At the center, the reflection of the burning Dark Flame estate twisted into smoke.
"They've used the Realm Divider," one of the figures hissed. "Split the spawn."
"They fractured fate," another said grimly. "We must find them — before the prophecy fulfills."
"The Shadow Reaper… cannot be allowed to awaken."

POV: Elara (Arriving in the Lowest Realm)
The blinding light of teleportation faded, replaced by gray skies, cold winds, and the stench of rotting leaves. Mountains loomed overhead, and a jagged forest stretched like a clawed hand.
A small, rugged village sat at the base of the ridge — Gravedge, one of the harshest settlements in the bottom-tier realm.
Elara cradled Kael beneath her cloak as her boots crunched on the gravel path. No welcome greeted her — only suspicious glances and silence. That was fine. Silence could be survival.
Kael stirred and began to cry.
Elara calmed him quickly and whispered, "This world is ugly and cruel. But you'll learn. You'll endure."

POV: Kael (First Person Flash-Glitch — Internal)
For the first time, a strange presence flickered in Kael's barely forming thoughts. Not yet language — only hunger. A cold instinct. A pull toward something deeper than milk or warmth.
His system shimmered.

POV: Lyra (Highest Realm, Celestial Tower)
At the same moment, Lyra blinked her violet eyes open. She had not been sleeping.
Her fingers reached for something in the air — something far, far away — a twin flame in the dark.
The maid tending to her staggered backward. "By the Stars… she's awake."
