Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Beast of Mt. Silver

The wind howled across the sharp cliffs of Mt. Silver, the highest peak in all of Kanto, veiled in mist and

mystery. The mountain stood tall, solemn, as if it had witnessed the birth and death of civilizations. It

was a forbidden zone, untouched by human ambition except for the most reckless or the most

desperate. And today, it trembled—not from nature, but from something unnatural. Something waking.

Deep within the mountain's hidden caverns, Kael Drakar opened his eyes.

The stone beneath his back cracked.

His breath came out in slow, deliberate waves, releasing steam as if his body burned with a heat foreign

to the world. His pitch-black hair, longer now than when he had collapsed here a week ago, fluttered in

the cold drafts. Eyes once a dull gray now shimmered crimson like molten lava. His entire body radiated

a sense of pressure, not psychic, not elemental, but primal—like something that wasn't supposed to

exist in this world.

Kael remembered the fall.

He had hiked Mt. Silver alone as a final act of defiance before his 18th birthday, a solo challenge to test

himself. No Pokémon. No gear. Just survival instinct. But halfway up, the storm came. He had slipped,

fallen into the ravine, and struck his head. He should have died.

But something inside him had awakened.

Memories not his own. Pain that felt older than time. Rage that belonged to something born only to

evolve and destroy. Visions of a creature—gray-skinned, spiked, monstrous—being killed again and

again, only to rise stronger each time. It wasn't a dream.

It was him.

A voice echoed through his skull.

"You are Kael Drakar. You are the reincarnation of extinction. You are the one who shall

not die. The one who shall evolve. Forever."

He sat up slowly, eyes glowing brighter with each heartbeat. His body had changed. Muscles denser,

tougher. Skin stronger than stone. The thin gashes from his fall had vanished completely.

[SYSTEM BOOT COMPLETE]

A line of glowing text formed before his eyes, hovering midair, invisible to the world.

ORIGIN ENGINE ONLINE. WELCOME, HOST.

Kael didn't flinch. He felt it—the system wasn't alien. It was his, forged from a power beyond

comprehension, as if the world's rules bent themselves to serve him.

He stood up, every movement filled with inhuman grace and weight. As he stepped forward, the ground

beneath him cracked from sheer pressure. Kael clenched his fist, felt the raw strength behind it.

He wasn't human anymore. Or perhaps, he was something more than human.

And he had to know why.

Pallet Town – One Week Later

The breeze was gentle here. Peaceful. Birds chirped. Pidgeys fluttered overhead. It was the kind of place

people retired to. It was also the place Kael had once called home.

He walked down the path from Route 1, clothes torn but body unharmed, his presence alone turning

heads. People whispered. Some smiled, unsure. Others stared. After all, everyone in Pallet Town had

heard the news.

"Kael Drakar survived Mt. Silver."

They didn't say it with pride. They said it with awe. And fear.

Professor Oak stood outside his lab, frowning as Kael approached. "You were missing for a week, Kael.

Everyone thought..."

"I changed," Kael interrupted calmly.

Oak paused, studying the boy—no, the man—who now radiated something entirely different. "Changed

how?"

Kael's red eyes locked onto his. "In ways no science can explain. But I need to start my journey. Now."

Oak shook his head slowly. "You're supposed to begin in a week. That's the regulation. You know that."

Kael stepped forward. The wind shifted. Trees nearby trembled.

Oak swallowed. "…But I suppose we can make an exception."

Inside the lab, the familiar trio of Poké Balls lay on a platform. Kael stared at them but didn't move.

"I'm not here for a starter," Kael said.

Oak blinked. "You… don't want a partner Pokémon?"

"I won't need one," Kael replied. "I'll battle Pokémon myself."

2Oak laughed, then stopped when Kael didn't join. "Wait, you're serious?"

Kael nodded. "Pokémon fight with heart and instinct. So will I."

A new screen appeared before his eyes.

[Battle Protocol Unlocked: Trainer-Combat Synchronization Mode]

He left the lab soon after, not before grabbing a travel pass, an ID chip, and supplies. No Poké Balls. No

Pokédex. Just a satchel and the clothes on his back.

Serena stood by the exit of the town, dressed for travel.

Kael paused. "…You're leaving too?"

She smiled. "One week early. Professor made an exception for me, too."

She looked at him—really looked—and a faint blush touched her cheeks. "You… look different."

"I am different."

She stepped closer, eyes meeting his. "Just… don't change too much. Okay?"

Kael didn't answer. But something in his chest pulsed—a warmth he hadn't expected.

Route 1 – First Encounter

A wild Raticate blocked the road. It snarled, baring teeth.

Kael stepped forward.

System pinged: Threat Level: Low. Recommended Action: Physical Dominance.

He cracked his knuckles. "Let's test this."

The Raticate lunged.

Kael moved like lightning. A sidestep. A low sweep. A fist into the ground that sent a shockwave rippling

forward. The Raticate was launched into a tree—unconscious, unharmed, but thoroughly defeated.

Serena's jaw dropped. "You didn't even touch it directly…!"

"I didn't need to."

The road ahead was long. Gyms. Leagues. Legends.

But Kael was no ordinary trainer.

3He was the monster that gods once feared.

He was Doomsday.
