Chapter 10 - Chapter 11 Shut up!

Thirty minutes ago.

Dawson's International Company Ltd.

Kenny stood by the wide window of his spacious office, his gaze fixed on the world outside.

He had tried going through a certain important document that required his approval but he hadn't understood a single word.

He realized that he was just flipping through the pages and never memorizing anything.

Thoughts ran through his mind, making his head mixed up. He couldn't help but think about Natasha, the woman who had captured his heart. The very first time he saw her, the memory of her radiant smile and the sound of her laughter played like a bittersweet song in his thoughts.

He could clearly remember the beautiful times the two were together. She was such a nice and adorable girl that any man would want. She had everything, be it beauty, brains, or intelligence. Kenny was lucky to have her,but he couldn't protect her, he had caused her so much pain.

But amidst the thoughts, a sense of unease filled Kenny's heart. Something didn't feel right, as if something was taking over his happiness. His instincts told him to act. He quickly reached for his phone and dialed the number of his trusted personal assistant.

"Kata," Kenny's voice was heard with a mix of urgency and concern, "I need you to take me somewhere right away."

He wanted to go to that house where Natasha was, as soon as possible. He wanted to have a glance at her from afar and make sure that she was okay. Her well-being was the only thing that mattered to him at that moment.

Kata, who had always been following Kenny around for years, nodded his head and quickly picked up the car keys.

He knew his boss very well, and from the look of things, he seemed anxious.

"Boss, is everything okay?" Kata asked.

"Bring over the car, be quick," Kenny ignored his question and spoke without any emotion on his face.

"Don't kill me," Kata whispered as he ran towards the parking lot. "What have I done wrong?...no..am not supposed to be thinking of myself, what happened to my boss?" He continued whispering to himself as he approached the car.

The black car pulled up in front of Kenny's office building. He wasted no time getting in, instructing Kata to drive.

As they made their way through the city streets, Kenny's heart was racing, beating faster.. He couldn't shake off the feeling that Natasha might be in some kind of trouble. The car passes through traffic, each passing second increasing his restlessness.

"Don't you know how to drive?" Kenny shouted as he looked at Kata, who was in the driver's seat.

"I'm sorry, Boss," Kata said apologetically, not knowing what to do. The car was at its highest speed, and he was breaking the road rules. He had passed through the traffic lights without obeying them, thanks to his boss, Kenny.

At that moment, Kata felt as if his heart was about to jump out of his chest, and the car was flying.

In less than ten minutes, the car was already on the last street heading to the apartment where Natasha had spent the night.

Arriving at Natasha's house, Kenny gave Kata specific instructions to park the car a few meters away from the residence. He didn't want to draw attention to their presence. Leaning back against the leather seat, he peered intently through the tinted windows, his eyes scanning every movement.

His heart skipped a beat when he saw Natasha stepping out of the house, accompanied by a man. From the information he received from his assistant, when he asked him to find out about the people close to Natasha, he seemed to have seen this man but he couldn't recall his name.

They appeared to be engaged in a deep and lively conversation. Kenny's brow furrowed as he strained to hear their conversation. He needed to understand the nature of their interaction, to understand the meaning behind the man's words.

Suddenly, Natasha and Silas moved towards a waiting car outside, and the man sat at the driver's seat after helping Natasha get inside the car. Kenny's pulse quickened as he watched them. What was happening? Why were they leaving in such a hurry? And where were they heading?

Kenny felt anger rising in his heart, and he punched the car window, and the glass broke, blood flowing along his wrist. Kata, who was in the driver's seat, knew that it was the end for him.

"Boss, are you okay?" He asked anxiously when he saw blood on his hand after punching the car window.

"Shut up!!" Kenny roared. Sila lowered his head, not knowing what to do. It wasn't the right time to talk to his boss.

The car doors closed, and Kenny felt anxious as he watched Natasha and Silas drive away, disappearing into the city's streets. He had a painful feeling that an important part of him was slipping away, being taken to some unknown destination. His mind raced with questions.

As the car they got in vanished from sight, Kenny could not control how he felt. He couldn't let Natasha go away without knowing where she was going. He hadn't found a cure for her and he couldn't observe her without knowing where she was. He stepped out of the car and approached the spot where Natasha and Silas had been standing just moments ago.

His eyes scanned the area, searching for any trace that might reveal where she was going.

All of a sudden, a small piece of paper in the wind flew towards him. Kenny snatched it eagerly, hoping it held some answers.

Unfolding the paper, he read the hastily scribbled note. It was the address of an unfamiliar location.

Kenny held the paper in his hand, not knowing where it came from, and ordered Kata to drive.

After Kenny's car disappeared, a middle-aged man came out of a nearby bush with a smile on his face. He nodded his head and then disappeared out of sight.
