Chapter 1 - FOREVER NIGHT CHAPTER 1-3

FOREVER NIGHT

Chapter One: The Man in the RaiN

Rain fell hard on the small town of Ravencroft. The streets were wet and empty. Most people stayed inside, safe and warm. But one girl was out in the storm.

Her name was Lena. She stood near the forest, her black shawl wrapped around her. Her long red hair was wet, and her green eyes looked into the dark trees. She didn't know why she came here. She just felt like something was waiting for her.

Then, she saw him.

A tall man walked out from the shadows. He wore a long black coat, and his skin was very pale. His red eyes looked right at her.

Lena's heart beat fast. She should have been scared. But she wasn't. He looked... lonely.

"You're not from here," Lena said.

The man smiled a little. "No," he said. "I'm from far away."

He had a deep, calm voice. He sounded old, like he had lived a long, long time.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I was looking for something," he said. "And I found it."

She looked at him, confused.

He stepped closer and said softly, "I found you."

Chapter Two: A Secret in the Shadows

Lena stood very still.

The man's eyes were glowing like fire in the dark. The rain had stopped, but the air still felt heavy and cold.

She looked at him carefully. He wasn't like anyone she had ever met.

"What's your name?" she asked.

He smiled, but it was a sad smile. "Damien," he said.

"Damien," she repeated softly. The name felt strange and familiar at the same time.

"You shouldn't be out here alone," Damien said. "This forest isn't safe at night."

Lena raised her chin. "I'm not afraid."

Damien stepped closer, and for a moment, the wind stopped. Everything was quiet.

"You should be," he whispered.

But he didn't sound like he wanted to hurt her. He sounded like he was afraid—for her.

Then, a sound came from deep in the forest. A low growl. Lena turned, but she couldn't see anything.

"What was that?" she asked.

Damien's eyes narrowed. "Not everything in the dark is kind," he said. "Come with me."

Without waiting, he gently took her hand. His touch was cold, but it didn't scare her.

Together, they walked through the trees, deeper into the night.

At last, they reached it—a huge, dark castle hidden behind thick vines and old stone. It looked like it had stood for a thousand years.

"Is this your home?" Lena asked.

Damien looked at the castle. "It was once," he said quietly. "Before everything changed."

Lena didn't know what he meant. But she did know one thing: her life was no longer ordinary. And this man—this strange, sad man with fire in his eyes—was hiding something big.

And whatever it was, it had just begun.

Chapter Three: Whispers of the Past

Lena could not sleep.

She lay in her bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking about the man with the red eyes. Damien.

Who was he? Why did she feel like she had known him forever, even though they just met?

The storm had passed, but her thoughts were louder than thunder.

That night, a strange dream came to her.

She was standing in a long hallway. The walls were made of stone, and there were candles on the floor, flickering. A cold wind blew through the hallway, but Lena kept walking. Her bare feet didn't make a sound.

Then she heard it—a soft voice, like a whisper.

"You were meant to find me…"

She turned. Damien was standing at the end of the hall. His black coat moved like smoke, and his red eyes glowed in the dark.

But this Damien looked different. He was younger… and sadder.

Behind him, she saw a woman with silver hair. She was crying.

"You must not love her," the woman said."If you do, it will destroy you both."

Damien didn't speak. He just looked at Lena with pain in his eyes.

Suddenly, the castle around her shook. The candles went out. The stone walls cracked. Shadows rose from the floor like smoke.

And then Lena woke up—sitting straight up in bed, her heart racing.

She touched her face. It was wet with tears.

The next morning, Lena walked to the edge of the forest again. She didn't know why. She just felt she had to.

And then, he was there.

Damien.

Standing under the same tree as before, like he had been waiting.

"You came back," he said quietly.

"I had a dream," Lena whispered. "It felt real. Like it happened before."

Damien looked at her, his face calm—but his eyes filled with something darker.

"It wasn't just a dream," he said. "You're starting to remember."

"Remember what?" Lena asked, her voice shaking.

He stepped closer. "What we were… a long time ago."
