šÆļø Chapter 6: No More Quests?
I looked around.
The villagers now had food.
They no longer feared eating meals that smelled of bone dust.
I knew... they had eaten human flesh before.
How else could they have survived this long?
I handed them more fish.
Over time, they'd learn.
I kept a little for myself and crafted a loaf of bread.
They watched me, confused.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"You⦠don't need to cook it?" one of them asked, voice trembling.
Ah, right... This world is normal.
I'm the strange one.
I turned and headed back inside.
Whiteāthe small spiderāwas sleeping.
The wound on its body had stopped bleeding.
"Hey, White."
It didn't respond, just rolled over.
"Tch, whatever."
I looked at one of the villagers.
"Hey, do you know any caves around here with minerals?"
"Y-Yes, my lord. Behind the mountain, there's a coal cave."
Perfect.
I called for two zombies to follow me.
They couldn't use tools, but they could carry.
I tied rope around their necks and stuck torches on their heads.
"Let's go mining."
