INT. ALL MAJOR ROOMS EVERYWHERE — DAY
Police HQ. Government war rooms. Syndicate bunkers. Everyone staring at a screen.
The logo of Black Bear flashes.
A grainy voice begins:
"Hello. This is Black Bear.
Everyone watching this... sit comfortably and listen."
Pause.
"You all...
SONS OF BITCHES—WE ARE NOT EATING WHITE RAT.
WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS."
Silence across the world. Some people drop their tea.
"But...
Since you all want us to eat it—
FINE. WE'LL EAT IT.
THIS IS OFFICIALLY WAR, YOU BASTARDS."
The video ends.
People blink. Rewind. Watch again.
Nobody understands anything.

INT. BLACK BEAR HQ — NIGHT
A meeting room lit only by chaos.
"Boss, what the hell was that? You declared WAR?"
Boss leans back, serene. "Yes."
"So… are we actually fighting the government and five syndicates?"
"No."
"Then WHY declare war?"
The boss stares into the middle distance.
> "Because I am tired.
So, so tired."
"W-what?"
He stands.
> "From this day forward…
Black Bear is dissolved.
Our assets are yours. Take what you want."
"But Boss—what about the war?!"
> "The war was declared by Black Bear.
And I...
I am no longer Black Bear."
He opens his arms like a prophet of confusion.
"I am Alies Maximus now."
Staff stare.
"So… we run?"
"Yes. We run."

BLACK BEAR SYNDICATE — STATUS: DISBANDED
CITY — STATUS: PANIC INTENSIFIES
EVERYONE — CONFUSED AND PARANOID
---
INT. REN'S APARTMENT — NIGHT
Ren lies on the couch.
"Where's my teddy bear...?"
He looks around, finds it under the blanket, and hugs it.
Turns on the TV.
News channel screams:
"BREAKING NEWS: BLACK BEAR DECLARES WA—"
click
Cartoons.
"Hmph. Stupid news channels always start when I turn the TV on."
---
INT. POLICE STATION – NIGHT
Officer Grad sits slumped at the desk.
"Back in this damn room again. I've never hated four walls so much."
In the background, Black Bear's chaotic war declaration video plays again on loop.
An officer enters, trying not to trip over his words.
"Sir. The man we captured… he finally talked."
Grad sits up. Silence descends.
"He says White Rat is a codename… for a platinum reserve on the outskirts of the city."
Everyone in the room straightens. Someone gasps quietly. Grad just rubs his eyes.
---
INT. GOVERNMENT HEADQUARTERS – SAME TIME
The Minister leans forward, watching the same Black Bear video.
"It's been days. Where is this 'war'? No attack, no retaliation."
"Sir, maybe it was a bluff?"
"If it was bluff, where the hell did the Black Bear syndicate go? They vanished—assets, members, everything. It's like they dissolved."
"Should we connect with the local police?"
"Yes. Call Officer Grad. Maybe he's figured something out."
---
SPLIT SCREEN – POLICE STATION & GOVERNMENT HQ – VIDEO CALL
Minister: "Officer Grad. Any updates on the White Rat situation?"
Officer Grad: "Yes sir, we were just about to review findings when your call came in."
Minister: "Oh. Sorry for the interruption. Please go ahead."
Officer Leo: steps forward nervously
"Sir… according to the man we captured… White Rat is the codename for… a platinum reserve."
Minister: "How much?"
Leo (mumbling): "…fifty to a hundred kilograms."
SILENCE.
Both rooms freeze. Eyebrows slowly raise. Several people check their notes again.
Officer Grad (finally):
"We pulled out rocket launchers… for 100 kilos of platinum?"
Another officer: "Black Bear said he didn't even know what it was…"
Minister (quietly): "And now there's a war. Syndicates mobilized. Assets relocated. Intelligence burned."
Grad: "Even if we tell them the truth, they won't believe us."
Minister: "No. Too much blood in the water. No one can back down now."
Everyone just stares ahead, dead inside.
---
INT. REN'S APARTMENT – NIGHT
Ren, curled up with his teddy bear.
"I've had this weird headache lately… like hundreds of people are cursing me or something."
He shrugs, chewing chips.
Changes the channel from news to cartoons. Again.
"Too many rats around here lately. I need to put out poison."
He chuckles, completely oblivious.
"Stupid rats."
