Sky Moore drove everyone to the school, where the field was already packed with people, each one dressed in camouflage gear. Lily Smith quickly picked up a set in the classroom, hurriedly put it on, and then lined up to board the off-road vehicles parked on the field.
Lily Smith and Hadley Morrison sat together, and when Lily boarded the vehicle, Hadley made space for her.
"Lily, you didn't bring much with you."
Hadley looked at Lily's backpack, felt it, and remarked on its emptiness as it was deflated and hollow inside.
Lily glanced at Hadley's bulging backpack and couldn't help but feel aggrieved, complaining about Sky Moore's inhumane actions earlier in the morning.
"Do you know? That guy actually took out half of the stuff in my bag! Luckily, I put up a resistance and managed to save my Winnie the Pooh! Otherwise, without a pillow to hug, I definitely wouldn't be able to sleep! And my unfinished novel, now there's no chance to read it..."
Lily sighed.
