"Is that so?" Lily Smith tucked the menthol oil back, "Sky Moore gave it to me."
When he heard Sky Moore's name, Hadley Morrison's brow inevitably wrinkled. He studied Lily's face, then feigned a casual tone, "Lily, are you quite close to him now?"
Lily was stuffing the menthol oil into her pocket when she heard Hadley's words and paused slightly, subconsciously asking, "Close?"
Really?
"Yeah," Hadley looked at her and said, "You see, when you talk to me, you always mention his name, you were never like this before."
Lily frowned slightly, showing a thoughtful expression, then shook her head: "That's not necessarily true. Our conversations revolve around this topic, which is why his name comes up inadvertently. Besides, he's living in my house now, isn't it normal for me to mention him?"
That was the argument.
But Hadley still felt very uncomfortable inside.
