Caesar stepped away from him, glaring. "Don't push it." He turned to leave, but paused for a second. "And by the way. There is someone who does actually like you. A lot. He may not show it, because he's reserved and an introvert I suppose. But he does like you. A lot."
"Who?" Roman cocked his brow.
"Don't bother me. I have my wife to return to, else I'm sleeping on the couch. That's my worst nightmare," he said as he walked off, hands in the pockets of his slacks.
Roman watched him go before sighing softly, relief washing over him for the first time in sixteen years.
He smiled to himself, whatever depression he may have started to feel a while ago, vanished and was almost untraceable. He walked off to return to his own manor, but however paused, turning as if having noticed someone's presence.
"Who's there?"
Someone was behind one of the petal trees that had grown in the park. 'The person stepped out and it was none other than Yuri.
