The room was cool and way too quiet.
Adeline surprisingly felt comfortable, sitting opposite the woman, well, the therapist who was smiling at her.
Pretty brown skin swathed in a pair of nice light blue suits, her heavy curls pouring over her shoulder and accentuating her face.
Still, her smile…
It was very pretty, warm, and sweet. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.
"Hello. My name is Charlotte," the lady said, chocolate eyes slitting along with her beam.
Adeline returned a smile, reaching out her hand for a handshake. She proceeded to introduce herself, "My name is Adeline. Adeline Kuznetsov."
"Yes. I can see that. Your husband is Mr. Caesar Kuznetsov?"
"Yes."
"Did you come alone?"
"No." Adeline shook her head. "He's waiting for me."
"I see." Charlotte nodded. "Would you like to begin? Or would you like to take your time? We're going to do this slow and steady, no rushing at all. So, don't pressure yourself to open up, okay? Take it one at a time."
