The doctors of Doiwa mostly served the kingdom instead of the Lycan queen.
It was what Sakura had decreed once she indeed had every chance her mother had of manipulating the medical staff anymore. She didn't want a repeat of the Kimura scandal so she had suspended all of them.
Those who had insisted on treating Sakura after she got hurt always ended up dead. It took a while for the medical professionals to come to terms with the fact that the queen, in all her glory, had come to despise doctors.
That she had made certain that no one, absolutely no one, came closer to her with a scalpel. So, when they heard that the good doctor, Doctor Kiyomi, was once someone important to the Queen, they dismissed it.
Because there was just no way Sakura would favor a doctor, and that to form the Kimura house. It was absurd in every form and there was no point in trying to argue about what was right and what was wrong.
