Sakura had never felt an emotion like this. It was so new and yet so raw, it was eating her from the inside out. On one end, she wanted to go back to her mansion and be with her beloved.
She wanted to tell Kiyomi just how worried she was and how all of this was her fault but that she would never let Kiyomi suffer again. She wanted to tell Kiyomi that everything would be alright.
Hell, she wanted to tell Kiyomi to let her mark her so Kiyomi would heal faster and be on her feet again.
She wanted to tell her that her scars would never be scars because Sakura was determined to erase any scars on Kiyomi's body that would remind her of the horrors that she had often thought about.
Oh, Sakura had a lot to say, and as she sat in the palace, staring at a phone she had never once wanted to use, watching as the numbers called onto her to make the dial, she wasn't sure what to do.
