After a brief sprint and a handful of eliminations, Alex noticed two students engaged in a fight mid-air, one wielding a bow and a quiver.
"It can't be the same person, right?"
He asked himself as he observed their skirmish. He found the boy's overbearing assaults impressive, not giving the archer any room to retaliate.
As he observed, he wondered whether he should take advantage of their fight and take both of them out. However, he also wanted to determine if the archer was the same one who had nearly eliminated him.
"There's only one way to find out." He had to prevent the girl from dying. He moved forward slowly, ready to intercept if the girl was about to be eliminated.
He then saw the girl attempting to reach for the Twinlade.
However, a move made by the boy rendered that plan ineffective, leaving her exposed to a throw she had no chance of surviving.
"I suppose this is as good a time as any."
