Emma blankly looked towards Mr. WIshing Star
She was a monster.
Why did she even care about it then? It was because Emma doesn't want to be a monster.
She doesn't want to suffer, she doesn't want to be the one to make others suffer either.
But no matter what, she was still a monster, she made someone lose the most precious thing one could have, their life.
But now, she was given a chance. A chance to fix her mistakes, a chance to not be a monster. So no matter what happens, she will give it her best.
Emma faced Mr. Wishing star, no longer having a helpless face, it was like she had completely forgotten about turning into a flesh puddle just a little bit ago.
"I don't plan to ever stop wishing, Wishing Star. So as long as you promise to grant my wish, I promise to grant your wishes." Emma announced.
What Mr. Wishing Star did next surprised her, she hadn't expected him to do that at all.
He laughed.
He laughed loud and hard. A giant smile had appeared on his face.
"I did make a wish, didn't I? It's time we start your first task, Emma."
"For right now it's pretty simple, but also really difficult. All you have to do is get stronger, and do what you want. Currently your strength is not suitable for the things I want to do in the future, so unless you ascend to higher planes, you won't ever get your wish." The wishing Star lended out his hand to Emma once more.
Emma was skeptical of it, the first time she did so, she nearly died because of the gravity! She was only alive now because of the robe he gave her.
Emma calmed herself down, and took his hand.
This was a chance to get even closer to getting her wish, of course she was going to do it.
Emma took his hand and like before, she saw new scenery.
She was standing on yellow grass, her nose was filled with the smell of mushrooms. Her eyes had been in front of a massive dark blue wall, and a metallic gate that had been wide opened.
"In my opinion this place is a great one to nurture your Gift. Gifts have a specific taste to what they eat for someone to use them. Your gift eats lies, false identities, etc. This place is by far one of the easiest to do just that. Have fun!"
Gifts, Emma remembered them from Kushtaka's memories. Gifts were the things that helped you survive, as that blurry guy said from Kushtaka's memory, "You're worthless without your gift."
Gifts needed to eat, just like how you do. But they can go for a long time without food, but doing so would make them less useful overtime. Because of their need to survive, Gifts eat away at themselves, weakening themselves to live another day.
"Finding out what Gift eats sounds like a headache to deal with. I got lucky with Kushtaka becoming a part of me. It had already figured it out a while ago." Emma sighed in her head.
The Wishing Star looked around a bit, then suddenly turned to Emma as he was going to walk away. "By the way, I don't exist anymore! So whatever you do dont tell anyone about me, got it? Or else you would look like an insane person who's spouting around about an imaginary friend."
Emma looked at the man confused for a bit.
"Oh, he must mean not to reveal his identity to anyone. That's such an odd way to say that though." Emma thought to herself.
"Got it." Emma replied, having a small smile on her face.
"See you soon!" The Wishing Star shouted before disappearing into thin air.
"Bye bye." Emma replied while no one was around.
Emma walked towards the city.
Excited about what she could see and do here, and how strong she could become, to get her wish.
This planet was alien to her, how could she not be excited to meet the people that inhabited it?
"Besides, the Wishing Star said I could do what I want in here too, and I'm definitely going to explore this world to the fullest. Who knows how fast I could get my wish?" Emma said while inside the gate.
What was behind the giant gate, was many blue buildings, and a blue colored medieval looking road.
These blue buildings were in straight lines, with the same sized gaps in between each building creating alleyways. The buildings themselves looked like soldiers lining up for role calls.
But the thing that Emma saw in these blue buildings was that they were similar to earth's apartment buildings. Except these seemed more… abandoned.
Emma was astounded by the similarities of the two, how could two civilizations really far apart copy each other?
It was a mystery to Emma.
But that only made her want to know more about this world. How simallair was it to her own? She had to hurry and resurrect Luna! These mysteries must be solved!
Emma continued to walk down the street, making some guesses on where she should go. throughout the entire time she met no one, she didn't even see anyone ethier.
Emma had thought to herself. "So how is this place supposed to help anyways? It's just some desolate place with a single color covering the entire city."
"Now no-"
Emma heard voices up ahead. There were people up ahead!
They had all spoken that one language from Kushtaka's memories.
Their tongues had surprised Emma a bit, but of course a new world, new languages, new accents.
"Watch out! You nearly ruined my snot collection!" Emma had accidently runned into a guy, he had snow white skin, and hair, and blue eyes.
He looked human.
Of course Emma had expected this, it was from Kushtaka's memories. For some reason everyone looked kind of human, except with different skin colors, yellow, green, etc.
"Sorry." Emma responded. Naturally she knew the language, she hadn't known how to, Kushtaka did. And now Emma had Kushtaka's memories, and her wisdom too.
It was like she lived a second life.
Emma walked into a street filled with people and stood on the side lines of those buildings.
They were selling all sorts of stuff Emma had not known, even Kushtaka's memories were fuzzy from this.
A mischievous smile had been painted all over Emma's face.
She couldn't wait to explore!
