Synopsis
Adam's life had not been the best in his early childhood. He didn't know how his parents looked like. After all, the only place he could call home was the place where unwanted children were dumped. An orphanage near London. Adam is a hyper kid making him known among all the others...but another one called Will catches Adam's eye. So when Adam stalks him, he discovers that Will is much more of an evil person than he thought he was...even to the extent of costing someone's life. Adam tries to gather evidence and when Will notices, he frames Adam for a crime he didn't commit. A fight ensues that lands Adam in the Mother's private office. He gets told that an old man is coming to adopt him soon and Adam can't help but refuse to elaborate...not after he exposes that criminal, Will. And so he seeks out evidence and manages to gather proof which he presents to the orphanage, eventually regaining his good reputation among his fellow kids. As Mother decides what course of action to take next, Will dissapears the evening before Adam's adoption. The old man arrives and Adam, desiring to catch Will, agrees to leave the orphanage and live with the grandpa despite his initial protest. And so, Adam's life changes drastically after he gets forced to uncover the secrets of his family's lineage after he hears that his brother, who had been taken by scientists when they were young, is actually in the military where a supernatural being had broken out of its seal...and that Will was also involved in that occurrence. Adam gets thrown into a world of martial arts and unnatural abilities, which shall aid him in the future.

Chapter 1 - Sun and Moon

No one saw it coming. The scrawny boy was pushed. On the floor all of the milk spilt. Banged his head on the wall. Other children looked on. A fight between the two wasn't unusual. No one dared to interfere. The maid was called to stop them from going any further.

But Adam's hands were stuck on the boy's collar. Seeing that her words weren't getting through, she slapped Adam and separated them.

"Little boys shouldn't fight every now and then!" She scolded him then went over to the scrawny blonde boy. Adam followed her movements with narrowed eyes.

"Are you alright, Will?" She asked wiping a plaster on the boy's forehead.

Will nodded weakly with half closed eyes. The children sorrounded the maid curiously. Some of them shot fearful glances at Adam making him feel guilty.

If everyone knew what Adam knew, they would be a his side instead.

Will was his name. Just hearing it was enough to make a lump rise in his throat. Even though Will's appearance and demeanour resembled that of a lamb, his mind was as twisted as the devil's horns.

No one was aware that Adam had caught Will slipping in poison to the milk canister that was delivered to the nearby school every evening. Or that when the maid was asking for her pet puppy and the children stared blankly, it was Will who had locked it in the freezer despite it's pitiful cries until it was found seven hours later frozen to death. Then the same Will hugged the maid comfortingly when she sobbed at the horrific sight. Another time, Adam had woken up in the middle of the night and gone to take a leak when he passed by Will who was returning from outside. Adam didn't take much notice.

Until the next day.

One of the kids had gone missing so a search party was dispatched to look for him. Adam kept keeping an eye on Will, trying to recall the events of the previous night. It was dark then and he'd assumed the silhouette was that of Will since it was frail, though he wasn't too sure.

When the kid has still not been found, the children started to panic and all kinds of rumors arose. Since the missing kid was obsessed with paranormal activities and he did some of the challenges he saw on the internet, they said that Bloody Mary had finally snatched him and trapped him in the mirror world. Of course, Adam didn't believe any of it.

The person he suspected was acting normal, talking to others and even getting frightened by the spreading rumors.

When it was getting late and there was no signs of finding the kid, the search party turned back. That was when Adam stopped for a moment, sniffed the air and branched off to the left path. I

It was a weird smell that was familiar to him. He shone his torch and an unsettling discovery was made.

A six metre deep put with sharp edges rocks occupying the bottom. The missing kid's body was there. Flies too, were keeping him company. Holes decorated his torso and a stone had pierced his temple. A part of his brain was sticking out and his left eyeball rested on the sharp pointed edge.

Oh, that was it. It was the same scent the puppy had given out. But this time it was no animal.

Adam felt like puking. A sick sensation stirred up his stomach and he turned around only to be met by the horrified looks on the maid and the others behind him. Adam searched for Will's face only to see a poker expression. Will's eyes had this dead look.

Like the kid and the puppy were the same..

Animals.

Leaves were put in the hole and soil dug to cover it completely.

Ever since, Adam grew wary of Will. Although he had no evidence that he was the one who had done it, he searched for clues. Will, of course, left no trace. He wasn't dumb you see. He knew Adam was onto him, trying to put a rope round his neck.

Will was very observant. Not an ordinary kid. That was why when Adam had heard that the one who'd pushed the kid into the pit was Adam himself, his head went berserk with rage.

Will. That bastard.

Adam had tried to explain to the maid all about Will but she didn't listen. Who takes a twelve year old seriously?

Behind the door, Will had been listening. He decided to strike first. Though Will lacked strength, he was bestowed with brains. And he was sure to use them to the full extent.

Now Adam was getting scolded and yelled at for beating up Will. He had been called to the Mother's dormitory. When he turned to leave, Adam was certain he'd seen it clearly. Admist the sorrounding children, Will's green eyes were fixated on Adam. And a secret smirk played on his lips.
