Judging from the calm atmosphere and the gentle rising of the sun, I knew one thing. I arrived just in time. I smiled at all maidens I walked pass by tier eyes were just fixed on me.
I was directed to the guest room once again. I had to freshen up because of how dusty it was and how my clothes were almost ripped off, maybe that was the main reason why the maids were looking at me like that.
"Should I inform Lord Marcus that you are around?" The maiden asked but I wanted to surprise him if only the news of my arrival hasn't spread to all ears.
"No, there is no need" I declined that offer due to my reasons. "Breakfast, is in few minutes from now" she told me before hand.
"Yes, thank you for that info" I smiled at her and she surprisingly blushed. She left the room, giving me space to do what I wanted to do.
I quickly freshen up and knowing fully well that breakfast was at hand, I needed to deliver a gift to Lady Helen before it's too late.
