Kevin was busy networking at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel when he saw the message from Jessie. He picked up his phone, standing up as he said, "Excuse me, I need to make a phone call."
The other executives at the table nodded. On the other hand, Adam immediately knew that Kevin was going to call his wife. Tsk, tsk, tsk, he hadn't expected his friend to be this smitten. It seemed like he was almost entirely in love.
"President Harper seems to be in a good mood today," noticed one observant individual. Kevin's expression remained gentle, a rare sight for those who knew him.
"Is something good happening recently, Mr. Lambert?" someone else asked.
Adam took a sip of red wine and responded with a light smile, "Perhaps the iron tree is finally blooming; he has met with someone he quite likes lately."
