William stomped hard into the ground, causing the asphalt to erupt at the center of impact, and leaped towards the golden juggernaut who had its arms raised to his sides cockily as if expecting a useless struggle from his opponent.
BOOOOOOM!
His fist smashed against the armored chest of the juggernaut, sending waves of force erupting from the other side of the massive alien, which slammed into Flaxan soldiers as they passed through the portal.
The Juggernaut slid back a few feet but stabilized soon after and looked up from the fist print in his armor back towards William and smirked.
"PATHETIC!" He roared before slamming the back of his hand into William's head and sending him flying towards a building.
BOOOOM!
RUMBLE!
His collision sent an eruption of concrete and rebar shooting outward before the entire building began collapsing onto itself.
Nearby, in a flurry of alien blood, guts, and gore, War Woman noticed the sudden change and had a stern look on her face, "Does he need help? I had bett..." She wasn't able to complete the thought before a malformed juggernaut kicked her in her abdomen and sent her sliding in the opposite direction.
"BASTARD!" She roared as she flew back and, with a mighty swing of her arm, sent her mace flying towards the juggernaut.
SQUELCH!
The mace landed squarely in the face of the juggernaut, avoiding completely the armor around it and causing its skull to cave in on its brain matter.
CRASH!
War Woman crashed into a moving van, causing it to crumple inward on itself like a tin can, but with a soft sigh, she lifted herself from the ruins of the vehicle and raised her hand.
The mace within the caved skull of the juggernaut jerked backward, releasing itself from the alien's brain matter and exposing the damage to the outside world before the mace flew back towards War Woman, the blood and gore on it seemingly falling away as it passed through the air and eventually found its place in her hand.
WHOOSH!
She spun the mace in her hand with such force that it formed a small tornado out of the surrounding dust before using the mace to launch herself towards the golden juggernaut with her mace arm extended and the veins in her arm bulging!
BANG!
The golden juggernaut is sent tumbling by the force behind the weapon, and slammed into a police vehicle, before the golden juggernaut could regain his senses however, War Woman was already on top of it with her fists raised before she rained down a barrage of blows each one sending ripples of force echoing outward from the source of impact.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Angered beyond belief at being pummeled by a woman, the golden juggernaut let out a mad yell before catching the fist of War Woman and using her arm as leverage to pull her forcibly to a better position, and is about to release a devastating punch.
CLASP!
Suddenly, a pair of strong arms grabbed onto his massive arm and prevented him from throwing the punch. The golden juggernaut looked back in confusion, only to see William, who should have still been inside the collapsed building, pulling his arm back while pressing his feet against the juggernaut's shoulder.
War Woman, taking the opportunity that the juggernaut was distracted, raised her hand and summoned her mace.
"HAAAAAAA!!" She let out a roar as she swung the blunt but deadly weapon towards the undefended skull of the juggernaut.
Time seemed to slow for the juggernaut as it watched the mace approach for a deadly blow; even so, he only had time to mutter one thing.
"M... My king!"
SPLAT!
The juggernaut's head exploded under the force of the strike, sending chunks of brain matter, bone, and bits of Flaxan tech flying in all directions.
William and War Woman watched as the golden juggernaut fell to his knees before collapsing to the ground in front of them, blood and bits of brain falling out in a disgusting mixed clump.
The two raised their arms and pressed their fists together before rushing off into different areas of the battlefield that continued to roar with the fires of combat.
William looked at the chaos going on around him.
The Flaxan troops were beginning to overwhelm Robot's drones, and the ground was littered with dead clones of Kate, each one bearing a look of terror on her face.
Rex stood on a mountain of Flaxan corpses that even now continued to grow as he fired off explosives towards the alien invaders. His goggles were long shattered, a chunk of his shoulder was missing, and a long gash on his back continuously sprayed blood.
WHOOSH!
Rex turned around and saw a Flaxan soldier that was about to attack him from behind, but a firm grip on the alien's skull prevented it from moving further.
CRUNCH!
The struggling Flaxan's head erupted in a mixture of blood, bone, and brain matter, splashing Rex on his face as he watched in a daze.
"Tsk, this doesn't make us friends or anything, new guy, but thanks!" Rex turned back to the front and began launching more and more explosive tags.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Flaxan's were sent flying in pieces as they ran in horror, but were unable to escape the blast and were smashed into pieces.
William began flying in the air to get a better view of the battlefield.
He found Eve struggling to hold back an ever-increasing wall of Flaxan soldiers who continued to fire their weapons relentlessly onto the barrier Eve had put up to protect a wounded Hunk, who appeared to have been stabbed by a juggernaut's blade and was struggling to stop the bleeding.
A few GDA agents also huddled within as they waited for the inevitable collapse of the barrier Eve had erected, with their weapons trained on the enemies on the other side.
"I had better intervene before they get swarmed!" William thought before he began flying in quick circles in the sky above the distracted Flaxan invaders, before suddenly mid-spin, her veered off and headed for the ground with his arms raised and gritting his teeth, he thought, "This is going to hurt!"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
An eruption of devastating force swept out from the center of impact.
The ones in the center were lucky as they were crushed entirely by the wave of force before they could even feel anything, but the Flaxan troops around them suffered greatly.
A red mist sprayed out as the explosion ripped and tore at their flesh, ripping limbs and reaping lives in equal measure.
Those who were further away were shocked and terrified, as they were blasted helplessly against the very pink barrier they were trying to penetrate, the sound of their bones being shattered and their organs liquifying, causing some weaker agents to begin retching, and even Eve could not help but look away.
As the wave of force and dust died down, William emerged from the rubble with his arm limp, unknown to those observing inside William's suit, his arms had turned into pink mist inside his suit due to the impact force.
Naturally, his arms healed shortly, coming back mildly stronger than before, and he rose one more time to the sky.
Eve was struggling to catch her breath as she recovered from the energy expenditure, but with what energy she had left, she raised her head to watch as William once more dived like a vengeful falcon about to punch his prey to death.
William, who had landed softly amidst a crowd of Flaxan soldiers, made his presence known by forcibly thrusting his hand through the back of one of the alien invaders and lifting him into the air as he screamed in pain and terror.
PEW!
PEW!
PEW!
PEW!
PEW!
The Flaxan soldiers around him all opened fire at once upon seeing William's presence; however, the beams never penetrated his suit, which was capable of withstanding extreme temperatures for a short time.
Behind his visor, William's smile continued to widen beyond what could be considered normal.
Unbeknownst to him, a dim glow appeared in his eyes, like a distant candlelight in a fog, as he thrust his other arm into the now near-dead Flaxan he was holding and began to pull.
"AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
There were certain things that transcended language, Music, Love etcetera but what was being experienced here was pain beyond mere pain, the Flaxan felt as if his skeleton was forcibly tearing a new seam directly down the center of his body and with a crunch of bone and the squelch of tearing flesh he tore the screaming alien in half before throwing the pieces to the frightened Flaxans on his sides.
Terrified expressions appeared on their faces as the purple still hot blood, guts, and viscera slapped onto their bodies like a permanent coat of paint, and when the one on the right looked back up, he was met with a fist before his world went dark.
PUCHI
William's fist passed through the skull of the Flaxan soldier like a hot knife through tofu, and a fresh spray of hot brain matter splashed onto the troops behind him before falling over like a puppet with no strings.
"HEHEHEHEHEHEHE!" A sinister chuckle could be heard from inside the suit, causing the terrified Flaxan soldiers to quiver in fear as if they were confronted by a predator specifically designed to dismantle their species.
CLATTER!
The sound of weapons falling sounded around him as a few among the crowd of aliens had lost the ability to control their hands.
At another part of the battlefield, Immortal was fighting off a golden juggernaut while around him, Monster Girl and Santana, who worked in tandem to keep the regular soldiers from swarming Immortal.
Monster girl in her giant form was quite powerful, but was also a large target, she was riddled with shallow burning wounds all over her arms and back but thankfully Santana, who was wreathed in lightning had her back, and began passing through the crowds of aliens the lightning around her burning those who come into contact with it into cinders.
She would occasionally run into a malformed lesser juggernaut, phasing through the massive alien and appearing on the other side with a still-beating heart in her hand.
CLATTER!
While this happened, Immortal had managed to wrest the sword from the hands of the golden juggernaut and threw it to the ground, where it clattered to a stop.
"AAAHHHHH!" With a roar only capable by someone who has seen far too many battles, he slammed his fist into the face of the golden juggernaut, breaking its jaw before his fist forced its way down the creature's neck, and with a jerking motion, Immortal removed his arm from the corpse holding something.
He threw the item on the ground, revealing it to be a large portion of the Flaxan's spinal column, causing Monster Girl to visibly retch.
On the other side of a portal.
BOOOM!
Flaxans watched in terror as their king slammed his mighty fist into the console in front of him, clearly enraged by what was being shown on the screen in front of him.
"BAH, useless!" he swiped his hand, sending the image away from his view before standing to his feet.
"If you want something done right, best to do it yourself! He approached a pedestal where a sword was resting in the center of the room, the sword of his ancestors, who, if legends were to be believed, had forged it using the iron from the blood of billions of enslaved men and women from conquered worlds.
He grabbed the hilt, and in his mind, he felt like he could faintly hear the scream of billions of souls begging to be free of the accursed sword, but with a sneer, he shut out the voices and walled off his mind from the incessant cries.
"Time to dance once more, Sanguis Dirge[1]!" He yelled as he held the hauntingly beautiful sword aloft, and as if on cue, a pressure descended on the surroundings that forced the surrounding Flaxans to their knees, with some even losing consciousness.
"With this sword, that has never known defeat in battle, I will cleave the souls from their corpses!" The king's eyes glowed with power as the thought of bloodshed caused his blood to boil, he spun in place and walked towards the exit of the room.
On the other side of the door a procession of the king's guard who were made of the absolute greatest of the juggernauts who had proven themselves to be a major cut above the rest earning themselves the black juggernaut armor which made them not only extremely tough but extremely agile as well which differentiated them from their golden counterparts.
"Come, to the fires of battle and the anvil of war!" He commands the guards, who all press their fists to their chests in a salute before following behind their king in a procession that is three juggernauts thick
A smirk appeared on the king's face as he approached the glowing portal, which would take him to the thick of battle, and his crown seemingly morphed to form into a fully closed helmet that connected seamlessly to his massive mech suit, which made even the juggernauts behind him look like small
"FORWARD TO BATTLE AND CONQUEST!" The king roared before running headlong into the portal, and the guard followed suit, filing in three by three until they were all gone.
