Chapter Title: Chapter 15 – A New Legend

John's demand struck Jack like a cold blade to the chest. Shares in Greene Group meant immense power—but also deeper entanglement with the underworld. Jack clenched his fists, silent, his mind racing through possibilities.

Izabella gently tugged at Jack's sleeve, her eyes filled with concern. She knew John's greed well—dealing with him was like making a pact with the devil, and the consequences were unpredictable.

Emily watched Jack anxiously too. She understood this decision would shape their future forever.

The air inside the private room seemed to freeze, contrasting sharply with the loud noise of the casino outside.

Finally, Jack took a deep breath and said slowly, "You can have the shares in Greene Group—but I have conditions."

John's grin widened. He had expected this. "Go on, Jack. I know you're not the kind of man who gives without reason."

"First," Jack fixed John with a sharp gaze, "you will use those shares only for profit. No interference in Greene Group's operations. I won't allow your influence to seep into Wall Street."

John shrugged casually. "Of course. I'm not interested in running companies. Just the money."

"Second," Jack continued, "I want every piece of evidence you have against Greene—his illegal trades, secret accounts, and whoever's been pulling the strings behind him. I want him destroyed. Completely."

John narrowed his eyes, weighing the value of what Jack asked. The evidence was valuable—leverage over Greene or a bargaining chip with others.

"No problem, Jack," he replied smoothly. "Deal. But remember, in the underground world, everything comes at a cost. The more I help you, the higher the price."

Jack nodded. He understood all too well—the deal with John involved far more than just shares. But to bring down Greene, he had no choice but to play the game.

"Good. Then we understand each other." Jack extended his hand.

John shook it firmly, his smile now laced with something darker. "Good luck, Jack. I hope you truly do reshape Wall Street—and don't forget your friends when you do."

As they left the underground casino, a chill ran through Jack's spine. He knew he had stepped onto a dangerous path—one from which there was no turning back.

"Jack, are you really going to trust John?" Izabella asked, worry evident in her voice. "He's a complete monster. We could easily become his pawns."

"I know," Jack replied calmly. "But right now, we don't have another option. We need his strength—to escape Greene's reach, to gather enough proof, and to finally take him down."

"What do we do next?" Emily asked.

"We use the information John gives us to dismantle Greene even further," Jack said. "And then, we go to Morgan. We prove our worth to him—and earn his full support."

With John's help, Jack quickly vanished from Greene's radar. Using his vast underground network, John secured a safe hideout for Jack, Izabella, and Emily, along with top-tier protection.

At the same time, John began feeding Jack critical intelligence—evidence of Greene's illegal transactions, offshore account details, and secret ties to corrupt politicians.

Jack compiled the data and sent it to Morgan Group through a secure channel.

When Morgan received the evidence, his suspicions about Greene solidified. He intensified his investigation and initiated secret communications with Jack.

Using his financial expertise and insider knowledge from John, Jack helped Morgan gain the upper hand in their financial war against Greene Group, inflicting massive losses.

Greene, realizing he was in a desperate position, launched a furious counterattack. He tried to block Morgan's investigation and escalated his hunt for Jack.

But under John's protection, Jack evaded every trap. And as Morgan's investigation deepened, Greene's crimes came to light.

On Wall Street, rumors of Greene's corruption spread like wildfire. His reputation plummeted. Allies distanced themselves. Partners betrayed him.

Greene fell into despair. He knew he was finished.

In a last-ditch effort, he reached out to the true mastermind behind everything—hoping for salvation.

But the shadowy figure refused him. To them, Greene was no longer useful. Worse—hehad become a liability.

Greene collapsed mentally. He was abandoned. Trapped.

In desperation, he decided to shift the blame entirely onto Jack. He publicly claimed to be framed, declaring Jack the real puppeteer behind everything.

He sought to turn public opinion against Jack—to destroy him once and for all.

But his plan failed.

Jack had anticipated this move. He was ready. Through multiple channels, he released the full truth about Greene's crimes—along with undeniable evidence.

Public sentiment flipped overnight. Everyone condemned Greene. Support for Jack surged.

Greene had lost any chance of redemption.

A few days later, the FBI formally arrested Greene, charging him with money laundering, fraud, and obstruction of justice.

The news of Greene's arrest sent shockwaves across Wall Street. People celebrated his downfall.

And Jack became a hero.

He had cleansed the darkness from Wall Street. Restored its order.

He proved his worth. Earned the respect of many.

But Jack wasn't satisfied.

He knew Greene's fall was only the beginning. He had a bigger goal—to uncover the true mastermind behind everything and expose the deepest shadows of Wall Street.

He was ready to forge a new legend.

A new legend of his own making.

A few days later, Henry Morgan personally met Jack at the headquarters of Morgan Group.

"Mr. Jack Donnell, I must admit—I misjudged you before," Morgan said, extending his hand with an appreciative smile. "You've done something extraordinary for Wall Street. You're a true hero."

Jack shook his hand and smiled faintly. "Mr. Morgan, I only did what needed to be done."

"No," Morgan corrected him. "You did more than that. You exposed Greene, and you opened my eyes to the rot within Wall Street. That's why I propose we work together—to rebuild it."

"I'd be honored to collaborate with you, Mr. Morgan," Jack replied.

"I've uncovered the identity of Greene's true benefactor," Morgan lowered his voice, his eyes burning with anger. "His name is Raymond Clayton."

"Raymond Clayton?" Jack frowned. "I've never heard of him."

"He is one of Wall Street's most powerful elders," Morgan explained. "Head of the Clayton family—a dynasty that controls major financial institutions and even influences government decisions."

"This opponent sounds far more formidable than Greene," Jack noted, determination flashing in his eyes.

"Indeed," Morgan nodded. "The Clayton family is a behemoth. We must proceed carefully. But I've already begun investigating them. With your help, I believe we can bring them to justice."

"I'll do everything I can to assist you, Mr. Morgan," Jack promised.

In the following days, Jack and Morgan joined forces to launch a covert investigation into the Clayton family. Using their combined networks and resources, they gathered damning evidence and slowly peeled back the layers of corruption surrounding the dynasty.

They discovered that the Claytons had manipulated markets for personal gain, engaged in illicit activities, and wielded unchecked power over Wall Street's financial system.

Their actions threatened the stability of the entire market and harmed millions of investors.

Jack and Morgan prepared to expose the Claytons—bring their crimes into the light.

But the Claytons were not easy prey. They used their influence to obstruct the investigation and launched a fierce counteroffensive against Jack and Morgan.

A new and even fiercer financial war was about to begin…

And Jack was ready.

Because legends weren't born—they were forged.

And this time, it was his story to write.
