IN A BIT
XAVIER'S POINT OF VIEW:
I was officially five months pregnant. And it showed. The once barely there bump was now impossible to hide beneath my oversized shirts. The baby was growing fast, stronger, heavier, and… weirdly active. Like it did yoga at 2 AM and kickboxing at dawn.
"You're glowing." Selene said during one of her visits, cupping my face with that smug auntie smile.
I gave her the flattest look known to wolves.
"That's sweat, Selene."I said.
She laughed like I told the best joke in the world. The alphas hovered worse than ever. Adrian barely let me stand without offering support. Jaxon installed safety rails in every possible room like I was 900 years old. Today, they were all in the living room, trying not to act like they were pacing.
"Did the baby move again?" Adrian asked, eyes hopeful.
I nodded slowly.
"More like tried to cartwheel."I said.
Michael grinned.
"Our kid's going be a menace."He said.
"Our?" I teased, raising a brow.
