I was still struggling to come up with a tangible response when the car pulled up at our destination.
"We'll continue this conversation later." Angelo informed me as I stepped out of the car and I absolutely wasn't looking forward to said conversation at all.
After we all alighted the car, my heartbeat picked up because I was instantly reminded of the fact that we had a meeting to attend right now. As a sigh left my mouth, I tugged Landon's jacket closer to me while sighing again.
"Let's go," Damon said and even after he and his brothers began to move, I still remained in the same spot till they glanced back to state at me.
"You're nervous." Damon stated solely like he as speaking about the weather and I pursed my lips. Of course I'm nervous right now. Who wouldn't be?
When I didn't respond, Landon came back till he was standing by my side.
